Property is exactly as listed. Clean and exactly as pictured. The location and area is very nice and we felt very safe. Easy to uber/lyft into the city. WiFi was great and easy to log into. Instructions provided for access were perfect.

We rented the apartment for the week starting on Monday and leaving that Saturday. On Tuesday evening we came back to the apartment to find a notice from the local electric company stating that due to failure to pay their bill the power had been disconnected. I was on the phone and texting the host, from 10:30pm to 1am the next morning, trying to figure out a solution and asking for a refund. They would not commit to a refund and only verbally said that they would refund for the one night. The next day we called customer care and they helped us find a different place to stay. Unfortunately we had to move to a hotel due to how busy Boston was. We did receive some communication with the host but it was minimal on Wednesday just stating that power should be restored. We spent an entire morning working out a new place to stay. On Thursday morning at 2:30am in the morning, I received a follow up text from the host asking if power had been restored. Needless to say, we have no idea when the power was restored. The host was not sympathetic to our situation and asked if we wanted to move to another of their units across town and with a 12 minute walk from the subway at 12:30am in the morning with 2 children in tow. This situation could have been avoided if they had just paid their bills but the host did not seem willing to assume responsibility of the situation.
