The current rental ends 1/9/26 and the next rental must begin as close to 1/9/26 as possible and end on the 1st day of a month to avoid an unrentable gap. Boston requires a 28-day minimum for rentals unless it's rented <90 days/year or owner occupied, which this isn't. Stays 32 days or longer don't pay state lodging tax.

Boston's #2 safest neighborhood. Reservoir across the street for walking and running.

Upscale appointments and furniture, AC, well-stocked kitchen, hotel bed linens, towels, wifi and 50" TV with Netflix. Fourth floor walkup (no elevator).

Guests must rent the parking spot across the street and 2 houses over (close and inexpensive for Boston) for $175/mo. MBTA Green Line B train is 100 ft away. The laundromat 1 block away will do your laundry for a reasonable price.

Please tell me about your group when inquiring or booking. The minimum age of the oldest person must be 25 and good reviews are required, but I make exceptions.

Check in is 3:00 p.m. or later and check out is by 11:00 a.m. I do my best to accommodate early arrivals or late departures.

Really enjoyed our stay. Spent a month in the apartment with 2 adults and 2 teens. Great apartment, great location, great food, amazing city. Apartment is a short drive (15mins) into Cambridge, or to get downtown. Public transportation was very easy to navigate and felt very safe. Host was really helpful and always pleasant. The ONLY negative is that the apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator. Our daughter had recently had knee surgery, not ideal (obviously no fault of the host, and not the biggest deal overall, just something to consider) if mobility is limited. I look forward to returning in the future, really great experience. Thanks for having us!

Wonderful centrally located condo. Everything you need to feel at home. A little noisy so close to the T line but very handy to get around the city. A free outdoor pool just down the street was perfect for kids to cool off in the evening! Would stay here again.

4th Floor Walk Up

The apartment is in a great location and situated on the fourth floor of a walk-up building. The kitchen has nice appliances, but they do not function well — the sink filter was clogged, and the stove could not be turned on high. The heat continued to run even when it was warm outside, and despite asking the property manager multiple times to install the air conditioning, it was never completed.

GREAT LOFT FOR VISTING BOSTON

We had a wonderful stay at Greg’s loft. Loft was as pictured. Clean, beds are comfortable, well stocked kitchen, nice bathroom. Location is great and we felt safe in the neighborhood. Your own parking spot (2 blocks). Close to the T for visiting Boston highlights. Restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Owner was extremely easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again !

Perfect loft for our stay!

High end appliances and furnishings with an awesome shower! Thoughtful owner is communicative, available and flexible. Beautiful lake and running trails only steps from your door. Do be aware that this loft is up 4 flights of stairs and parking is about 2 blocks away. If you are not physically limited, this is an awesome place to stay in Boston. We will be back!

Location can’t be beat!

We were in Boston for 3 nights checking out colleges and this apartment was the perfect location: 100 feet from transit, amenities close by, super-clean, and a parking space to boot! PROS: - two green train lines within 3 blocks (one actually stopping on the street in front of the building!). You can get anywhere in town from here. - walking distance to Starbucks or 7-11; you can get train tickets at the latter. - lovely large modern kitchen; we chose to eat out, but the frig and microwave got some use! Furnished with everything you need should you choose to cook. - sofa was really comfortable. - Bedroom was large and light - very calm and nicely furnished. - Bath was modern and very clean. - Designated parking space across the street was the real bonus - parking in city is at such a premium that it was an incredible relief to know we had a spot for our use only. - super close to Boston College if you want to check it out, and train in front of the apartment stops at Boston University on the way into the city center. CONS: - no laundry in the building at the time we were staying (you had access in the building next door according to a sign in the lobby). - Apartment is on the top floor of the building with no elevator, so if you can’t do several flights of stairs, it might not be a great fit. Overall, it was a terrific stay and the owner, Greg, was amazingly quick and responsive with questions. He also had our security deposit refunded within 2 days of our stay - much quicker that many VRBOs we’ve stayed in. This will be our go-to place should one of our daughters pick a Boston school. Many thanks Greg, for a wonderful stay!

Best VRBO in Brighton

We've stayed in a number of properties in and around Boston. This is the best. Very comfortable. High end appliances. Great host. We were there for 5 weeks and felt right at home. Our grandkids joined us for several sleepovers. Lots of fun. Speaking of grandkids, the place was nice enough as a backdrop for a family photoshoot. The T is literally right out the door. We rented the optional parking space which was an excellent decision. The apartment is on the fourth floor. All we can say is after five weeks, our legs were much stronger. Definitely will return to this place.

Wonderful location

While the noise of streetcars below might be a factor for some people, the location is fabulous and the owner is more than accommodating. I do think, though, that the description as two bedroom is a bit of a stretch in that one of the two beds is located behind some hanging curtains in an extension of the family room. For us it was still a great stay.

Brighter in Brighton!

Our entire experience in Boston was wonderful! Part of it was staying at this property. Immediately across from a rail stop made it perfect for quick, easy commuting to nearly anywhere in the Boston area. Plenty of great restaurants and the grocery is a short walk or a train stop or two away. Laundry facilities are right next door. Many parks and green areas to take a stroll in. I would be pleased to return next time I am in the BOS area.

Great stay!

This is a lovely apartment and very nicely updated. The location was very convenient for a visit to BC (<20 min walk). The owner was very responsive and provided clear directions to the reserved parking spot which was also very helpful. Would definitely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others. Most enjoyable stay in Boston

Located in an old building, the apartment was clean and met our expectations as it reflected exactly the description and photographs posted on the VRBO site. Three train stations within 5 minutes walk from the apartment took us to downtown Boston or Harvard in 20 minutes. Our car was in a safe parking spot, 2 minutes walk from apartment and included in the rental price. Owner was always available, polite and informative. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Home away from home!

The loft is exactly as described! Loved the parking space since we were in town for 6 days & only needed the car 1 day. Perfect location to use the T. We would definitely stay again!

Summer break

Condo is in great location easy to get on and off subways trans buses whatever you needed was a nice area. Would go back and stay again. Owner was very easy to get a hold of and was very helpful

Perfect Location, Beautiful Place

My wife and I came here with our best friends for a week vacation without kids (we each have littles 4 years old and under). It was the perfect retreat. The condo is beautifully updated with a wolf range and sub-zero fridge. The beds are incredibly comfortable and all the rest of the accommodations were similarly excellent. The location of the condo is perfect for access to the Green line. From there you can get pretty much anywhere in town very easily. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great Accomodation

This condo is a great find! This is a lovely Boston Brownstone with a high end kitchen and upscale furnishings. We were very comfortable. My husband and I used a combination of Uber rides and trains to get around the city for 6 days. The owner provides great information for out-of-towners and is very responsive to any questions that come up.
