Great location. Cozy. Comforts of home. Would suggest a small portable A/C unit. Days were quite hot inside. Nights though were comfortable when the sun went down. Would stay again

A little outdated and run down. Could use a good deep cleaning. Missing bulbs and flickering light fixture. We just kept it off. Location was awesome! Was equipped alright but we only stayed 2 nights. Water pressure particularly the hot water was not so great.

Fabulous location to hideaway in for a few days. Went there to work( remotely), but was completely distracted by the fabulous weather, the gorgeous scenery and the quiet of it all. You will hear the music of the birds and the local waterfront- that is part of the magic. A few steps away was a lobster dock, to purchase fresh caught lobsters- then walked over to a boat landing to get ocean water to cook them with. ( it’s the only way unless you steam them) I didn’t really want to leave - sat on deck, drank champagne and just relaxed. Thank you Bryn & John. One of your neighbors helped me with my luggage. This was what the doctor ordered- next time I’m not bringing work!

Seeing the water from the living room and porch was spectacular -- we watched the fishing boats come and go and a pair of bald eagles fishing. Loved all the natural light!

I loved this cottage for my first vacay to Maine. It was everything I needed and loved the peace and serenity of it all. The ocean view is breathtaking theres a little cove to explore very short walking distance with more breathtaking sights. The location is a bit secluded, but the peace and beauty around shows that. When there are no clouds look up at night, and its almost like seeing the galaxy. The cottage was cozy and comfy. I had everything I needed and there is room for someone to sleep on the couch if needed. Everything worked well except the coffee machine needed replaced, but next door theres a cute little honor system store you can hang out in and get coffee, eggs, oysters, and merch. Theres live lobsters sold right next door for super cheap. There is unfortunately only one little center store on the island so if you need anything grocery wise go to Bath, Maine about 20 minute drive. Renys is a steal price wise if you need anything food, merch, or forgot something! Only other thing I was a tad concerned with was the locks on the doors, all locked from inside with wooden blocks, but from outside the one door wouldnt lock. Its so secluded though only a few neighbors I felt totally safe being on my own. Otherwise if you love peace, the ocean, a cozy patio, this cottage is so worth it!

We had a terrific stay - the view is even more beautiful in person! The house was clean, check-in and check-out process was easy. John was very communicative, quick to reply, and very helpful. The location of the property is so peaceful. We wished we had more than one night! Would definitely go back.
