White Rocks is a classic New England shingle style summer cottage on the salt water in mid-coast Maine. The scenic vistas from the cottage are what sets White Rocks apart. The cottage overlooks a large bay and has spectacular views of islands, lighthouses, and the rocky coastline. White Rocks has a screened porch and a deck that both overlook the water, as well as a private dock for boating, kayaking, fishing and swimming.
The cottage is in excellent condition and is nicely furnished with a combination of antiques and modern furniture. Every room in the cottage has authentic wide plank wood floors and water views. White Rocks has all the necessities, including wireless internet service, a lobster cooking pot and a gas barbecue grill on the deck.
The cottage has two upstairs bedrooms. The main bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds. A full sized sofa bed in the living room will sleep two people. White Rocks has a full kitchen, a separate dining room, a spacious downstairs bathroom with a full shower, and a cozy living room. The cottage has a flat panel HDTV, a DVD player and a CD player. White Rocks has electric heat, and the bedrooms have fans. Unlike many rental cottages, sheets, blankets, and towels are provided for guests and the beds are made.
White Rocks is located just steps from the water and has its own picturesque cove. The cottage faces west, so you can enjoy gorgeous sunsets every evening. The cottage also has a large lawn where you can play catch, croquet, or simply sit in the shade. White Rocks is a short drive from Reid State Park, the most beautiful beach in Maine. A free season pass to the park is included with the cottage rental.
