Cozy Cottage on Georgian Bay with Stunning View, Close to All Amenities

Enjoy panoramic views of Georgian Bay from this charming modern cottage on Paynter's Bay. Only eight minutes from Owen Sound, our cottage also borders on the quiet and beautiful Hibou Conservation Area, where you can enjoy birding, hikes in the forest and shoreline, a great sandy beach, and a modern playground for the kids. Cuddle up next to the gorgeous modern Morso wood stove. Adventure awaits you with lots of skiing, biking, snowmobiling, and the waterfall wonders of the Niagara Escarpment nearby.

Our cottage is newly updated in a modern Danish mid-century style. Cozy and comfortable, you will enjoy floor-to-ceiling views of the bay from any seat on the main floor. Our kitchen is fully stocked with all the dishes, cookware, and glassware you might require to host a small gathering of friends and family. All bedrooms have comfy beds and big windows with waterfront views. We promise you a relaxing and recharging stay in the heart of Grey Bruce County. Please note that the cottage has about 12 flagstone steps down to the cottage.

Please take your bag of garbage with you, there are too many critters to leave it on site. You can take it to Miller Transfer Station at 2085 20th Ave East, Owen Sound: Mon-Fri 8-5, Sat 8-2

The home and property are exactly as the photos show - cozy, comfortable, fully equipped and clean. Tge proximity to Owen Sound was an added bonus as it allowed for quick trips to town. The Hibou beach is within a very easy short walk as well.

This is a very charming cottage! It is very stylish and comfortable. The lakefront patio is lovely. The house is fully equipped with comfy beds, a cute, well-appointed kitchen, and beautiful water views. Pike, the host, was wonderful and quick to communicate. We cannot wait to return!

The cottage was adorable right on the lake minutes from Owen Sound. Views were spectacular with easy opening windows to hear the lake waves. The wood fireplace heated the entire cottage on a cold winter night. Kitchen was well stocked. Overall very inviting, clean, bright and spacious. Pike was very responsive. I’ll be back

Beautiful, zen lakeside view. Could sit there for many more hours. Plan to bring your own coffee. No wine glasses.
