Our family recently stayed at this property, and while we overall enjoyed our trip and appreciated the opportunity to stay here, our experience was unfortunately marred by several ongoing maintenance issues. We want to be fair—the property itself has great potential—but the lack of upkeep significantly impacted both the comfort and the overall value of our stay.The most challenging issue we faced was with the climate control. The air conditioner did not cool the home consistently at all. Throughout our stay, we repeatedly had to lower the thermostat because the temperature seemed to change on its own. It became so uncomfortably warm inside the house at night that it disrupted our sleep entirely. Ultimately, we had to make an unexpected late-night trip to Walmart just to purchase portable fans so our family could sleep in peace.Beyond the AC, several advertised amenities were non-functional. The refrigerator's ice maker did not work during our stay, which was highly inconvenient. Furthermore, the listing specifically stated that a washer and dryer were available, but we were completely unable to use those amenities as expected, causing logistics issues for our clothing during the trip. Lastly, from a cleanliness standpoint, we were very concerned to find visible mold on the shower handle.We have reached out to the host privately to make them aware of these items so they can resolve them for future guests.
