The cabin was exactly what we were hoping for when we picked a random spot on the map that seemed likely to get snow. The snow covered trees were beautiful and the cabin was very cozy. The property provides lots of privacy while being close to food and entertainment.

We had the best time ever in this cabin. Cozy and super clean. From the fireplace to the game room to the beautiful views of the river, it was winter perfection. The cabin was well stocked and we had everything we needed. One note, is that it's very secluded. The description did not mention a security camera, but we didn't mind one being there. Maybe a curtain on the bathroom window would be a good addition, too.

My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVED this place! Perfectly secluded on the Manistee river, even though it was frozen haha, amazing views! Incredibly clean, fully equiped kitchen. Only complaint, the firewood they provided must have gotten wet. No matter what we tried it wouldnt burn, so we were bummed about that. Be prepared to shovel sidealks if you go during winter months. Overall 10/10!

Thank you so much for the great review! We’re thrilled you loved the seclusion, views, and how clean and well-equipped the home was.
We’re sorry about the firewood and appreciate you bringing that to our attention, we’ll be sure to address it. Thanks as well for the winter tip. We’d love to host you again! -Van, FVR
The property was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Has a Grill, beds were fantastic, I can vouch for the house staying cool even with it being very hot outside. 86 degrees farenheit and without a/c the house stayed 15 degrees cooler by keeping windows and doors closed. River was beautiful and extremely quiet and private. Will re-book in future. House was very nice with great decorating and a modern "cabin" feel.

Cabin and surrounding area was beautiful!! Amenities were great! Would have liked a little help with knowing how to run the TV. Most VRBOs have information in the house indicating how some things work. NO HELP with the TV. Also directions to reach the cabin initially were very difficult to follow. Using GPS was confusing and brought us to very bad roads.
