Beautiful property right on the river. The RV was in excellent condition and very clean. The hosts are very responsive via text. We enjoyed our stay and would return.
The property was beautiful and serene, you can hear traffic on I75 but it didn’t matter. Loved being close to the river. The camper was clean and had everything you needed. We enjoyed our stay! We will be back!
Awesome & would absolutely recommend to anyone! The host are fantastic & go above and beyond. Steps away from fishing, canoeing/kayaking & its completely peaceful.
We had a great time. The campsite setting is like a postcard. It is gorgeous.Everything we needed was there. So peaceful and beautiful. We will be back.
What an amazing place to decompress and enjoy some time in nature on a gorgeous piece of the Ausable river. Couldn’t of asked for a better host. They made sure we had everything we needed for a great weekend. The camper was squeaky clean with super comfy bedding. Looking forward to staying again!
It's a very peaceful and quiet place on the banks of the Au Sable river. There's a grill, swingset, lawn chairs,a firepit, firewood, just about anything you could want really. We even saw deer crossing the river. Some nice statgazing at night too. The camper is clean and in great condition. Town is a short drive away. Definitely will come back in the future!
It was just what we were looking for. Beautiful view of the river and nice fire pit with wood provided. Two kayaks also provided. It was a beautiful float down to Burton's Landing as long as you have a way to transport them back to the campsite. Wasn't sure about relying on a generator and battery power, but it was very easy to start and ran quietly. Overall we had a very relaxing couple of days.
This setup was Awesome! Alexis was Great! She was very attentive and helpful! The camper was very comfortable and we enjoyed it thoroughly! The River stole the show though. We sat next to and actually in the River during our stay. The kayakers were all very friendly while floating by. We would definitely stay again!
Had a very nice stay. Everything was supplied for anything we needed. Arriving in the dark was tricky as you it was hard to find but the owner was very helpful directing us to the location. Generator is very quiet and can barely hear it run if needed. Very easy to start. Very clean. Would definitely stay again
I came to Grayling for a few days to fish the Au Sable and enjoy the beautiful October weather. The property was perfect! The host had everything ready and all the details covered. Everything was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed nights stream side by the fire. I plan to be back. Next time I hope to enjoy the kayaks!!
We had a great time relaxing for the weekend on this perfect spot on the Au Sable. All the fun of camping with the ease and comfort of a RV. The camper is very clean and the generator is easy to use. The river is crystal clear and accessible for swimming right in front of the property. There is also a nice shallow area to put chairs in and sit with your feet in the water. Lots of friendly kayakers and tubers passing by through out the day and quiet peaceful sounds of nature in the evening by the fire. We can’t wait to come back.
If you love camping and staying in a little nook in the corner of outdoor heaven, this is the place for you. We would absolutely stay here again. The camper was well-appointed, comfortable, and everything was pretty much set up and ready to go for us. It's a beautiful and peaceful spot, even though you can hear the traffic from I-75 a bit - didn't bother us at all. Also still 5 minutes from town and lots of easy shopping for groceries or souvenirs, as well as plenty of great restaurants. Alexis was super accessible for whatever we needed but gave us our space as well. Wished we had more time here!
This experience was exactly as advertised and described by reviewers. It was beautiful there, and the RV was clean and well maintained. As others mentioned, the traffic noise was ever-present, but we at least knew to expect that. We’d never stayed in an RV before and had to find UTube videos on how to get the oven started. We learned about generators and propane and all sorts of things. It rained almost constantly, but we had a great view out the window over the eating area.
My husband and I had a fantastic time at this vacation rental! The camper was so clean and there were many little extras that made our stay special. From the grill to the dinnerware to the comfortable bed; we felt that each detail was intentional and well thought out.
We kayaked down the river using one of the rental services and had a great time- highly recommend a 4 hour trip for the full experience. We did hike the Au Sable Hiking Trail which was just okay.
The highlight of our evenings was grilling our dinner and enjoying the river view and fire pit!
I would say the only negative was that we could hear a lot of traffic from the river, but, not a lot that can be done for that!
We would definitely recommend this vacation rental and appreciate the hostess for all that she did to make our stay special!
