We were here for Mardi Gras and had four friends who we brought who had never been. It was an amazing location to our favorite restaurants and bars in Mid City. So many things were 15-20 minute walk away, including Endymion which was great for our first day. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and cozy for all of 6 us. I would highly recommend staying and would definitely come back here another time.
We had such an amazing stay! The house is very clean and comfortable. We had plenty of room to dine and play cards on the large dinning table, bedrooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. We cooked breakfast every morning and had everything we needed to do so. The location is pretty fabulous. Away from the noise of the city, and yet close enough to get there easily. The neighborhood is cute. A grocery store is within walking distance as well as a dive bar and several restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay, and recommend this property to anyone looking to visit NOLA.
This is a good location for a family getaway. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen fully appointed. Very clean. Short drive to most NOLA activities. We had a wonderful time and would stay again.
Very nice home, exceptionally clean and well stocked. The location was great for Jazzfest. Very walkable area with great food within blocks. And there is a bonus bedroom behind the kitchen with an attached bathroom. Listed as 3 bedroom, but actually has 4. Hope to stay here again next year. Host quickly responded to text messages.
The place was perfect for Jazz Fest weekend, as it is just 2 miles from the Fairgrounds. Solid options on the block for food and bars. Pretty easy to get around the city from this location - close to Carrollton and the interstate. Place was as advertised.
Came to town with 4 adults and 3 kids for a family wedding weekend. The house was a perfect home base for our family. House was updated, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Nice to be able to walk to coffee shop nearby and also easy to navigate/Uber to all of our events and fun activities. Hosts very pleasant and easy to deal with.
3 adult couples stayed for 3 nights. Great location. Enjoyed the neighborhood eateries. Quiet area within easy walk of Canal St. trolley. Master bedroom mattress was terrible, poor support, squeeky. HVAC unit was right outside the window and was very loud. Hallway bath shower faucet did not function properly. Rug in dining room was tattered and dirty. Open containers of food were left in refrigerator. I spoke to the host about this. She said it was common practice. We found it off-putting. Also there were opened bottles of OTC meds in the medicine cabinets. This seems dangerous. They number of towels in the bathrooms was not sufficient. The remodel of the home was well done. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but felt that for the price - improvements could be made.
Wonderful stay - our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our time in New Orleans!
Property was perfect for our needs... a small issue with water pressure was addressed immediately & was a city of NOLA problem that was taken care of promptly. Street parking for our rental car was easy, most often right in front. Bar, burgers & pizza 2 blocks away as well as breakfast places.
This Banks St. house worked perfect for our group of 3 couples. There was plenty of space for all of us and there would have been plenty of room for an additional couple. This area worked perfect as the neighborhood was low key and more quiet compared to the business of downtown, yet it was a quick 15 min Uber ride to Magazine Street/Bourbon area/Jackson Square, etc. Banks St. Bar was a favorite and Biscuits and Buns on Banks had a good breakfast. Thank you for giving us the ability to stay at your place!
We had a great stay. The house was centrally located, easy walk to the Canal Street Trolley. We loved the furnishings, the kitchen had everything we needed and the home was very clean. Would stay again!!!!
We had family together our accommodations were great I felt safe in the neighborhood not too far from everything we wanted to do, I would recommend. Donna
The property is great and a perfect location. Megan was very easy to reach and helpful before, during and after our stay. If we go back we will book the same place again. Highly recommend.
Well appointed and clean home. Mid City was not to far from our mission of moving our daughter into college. Some of the first floor windows were missing hardware, but the property manager immediately fixed the problem to ensure safety for the remaining stay.
What a wonderful time we had in New Orleans. The house is located in a very cute neighborhood. We were a group of 6, with 3 in-laws ranging from 77 to 89 years old. They were so happy and comfortable in the house.
We loved that we were just a short drive away from the French Quarter.
The house was very clean and organized and most importantly everyone felt safe.
Thank you for the wonderful memories.
Clean and nicely appointed home. It does take some time to get to the French Quarter if that is your main goal, but so close to cemeteries and City Park! We would stay there again, for sure!!
The home was spacious and beautiful. We took a family trip with my Aunt, my two daughters and my little brother. Even being so far from home, we felt safe, comfortable and entertained our entire stay. Hope to be back soon!
We had a lovely time and found the house to be well appointed and in great condition. We've never stayed in Mid- City before and it's so centrally located- it was a treat getting everywhere quickly.
We'd stay here again in a minute!
