NEW IN 2024: Fully enclosed outdoor shower, perfect for after the beach. Also new is a small clothes dryer in the kitchen (NO WASHER). This is meant for just a few towels and bathing suits, not a large load. We have discontinued the use of Xfinity Cable and now just have Samsung TV and internet, so you can stream any of your own favorites!
Adorable old 2 story cozy townhome (side-by-side twin) in the heart of downtown OC. And yes cozy is another term for small, however with the spacious dining room and generous sized bedrooms, it doesn't seem so small. Think New Orleans shotgun shack or a South Philadelphia row home. From the front door it’s living room, dining room, kitchen and bath, straight through. We are located on West Ave. (bet. 12th & 13th) on the ocean side of West (no main streets to cross to beach) directly across from a bustling 24 hour Wawa. Property features 2 spacious bedrooms and 1 bath, with sleeping for 6. This is a single family home with attached neighbors, so please be considerate. Property is 4 short blocks from beach or bay (6 min. walk or .33 mile); a great seating area at 12th & Bay for watching sunsets) and 1/2 block from the Asbury Ave. shopping district with loads of stores and eateries. There is a great kiddie park at 15th & Bay, can walk or drive. Piccini Restaurant is across the street, 1 block away from Boyar's Market, (deli/market), Walgreen's and Bennie's Bread, Johnny B. Goode Ice Cream, Augie's, Sunrise Cafe, Cathy's Bakery and many others.. There are MINI SPLIT AC/HEATING UNITS installed in each room. These produce ice cold air conditioning! Living room and kitchen are smaller, but dining room is large. Dining room has seating for 6-7. Two spacious bedrooms are on the 2nd fl (master has 1 queen, secondary bedroom has twin over full bunk beds and an additional twin bed), the bath is on the first. There is no dishwasher. 55" TV in living room and 32" in the master bedroom. No TV in bunk room. There is a spacious outdoor patio with lots of seating, perfect for family entertaining. There is parking for 1 standard sized vehicle (car or SUV, not oversized) behind house. Kitchen amenities include microwave, Keurig and conventional drip pot, pans, flatware, dishes, cups, etc., everything you need to cook a meal if you choose. NOTE: Ring doorbell on house at back door. It will be turned off after check-in. You can cover it if you like. We are just monitoring check-in to make sure the correct tenants are there.
Note: there may or may not be an older pack n play available. Please notify us if you would need it. There is also a plastic infant bath in the house as there is only a standup shower. I personally prefer the deep kitchen sink!
Owner contract must be signed 30 days in advance of check-in, submitted with copy of driver's license (age 25 and older) for whomever is signing contract. 4 beach tags will be provided for your use. If lost, there will be a $35 each replacement cost deducted from security deposit. Several backpack and other beach chairs (usually 4+), boogie boards (4+) and an older beach cart are there for your use as well. No guarantees of condition of items. Use at your own risk. There is also a storage bench full of beach games and sand toys, including jai alai, lacrosse and paddle ball sets. Lots of buckets, shovels and molds.
NOTE: Renters are responsible for bringing their own linens INCLUDING SHEETS, bath towels, kitchen towels, toiletries etc. We provide all TP (please respect sewer system) and trash bags. There is usually a starter supply of paper products , paper towels, napkins, trash bags, etc.) and of course food and condiments. There is an assortment of basic spices in the cabinet. Mattress pads, pillow protectors and quilts changed out every few weeks. You are welcome to bring your own if you like. NON-SMOKING PROPERTY! Smoking is permitted out back on patio only. NOTE: In some situations, a 3-4 night stay may be available IF we have gaps. If there are dates blocked out that you are interested in, please inquire. If they're blocked for family usage, we may be able to make them available for you! As noted above, we have had to institute fees for lost or broken beach tags and remotes as follows: $35 charge for beach tag; $75 charge for mini-split remotes; $25 for Samsung and Bunk Room ceiling fan remotes. New for this year is a TRASH REMOVAL FEE of $25. We are sorry to have to do this, but have had an awful season of no one putting out the trash and have had to do major cleanup. We have trash pickup twice a week in season and Wednesday in off season. There is no reason that new renters have to come in to overflowing trash cans due to not putting trash out!!! Please follow instructions on House Info and taped to refrigerator!!! It is expected that some trash will be left as last pickup for week is Friday morning. Please do your part as we do not have a trash corral at the alley and cans must be brought out. Failure to do so will incur $25 against your security deposit. NO ONE UNDER 25, NO GROUPS, FAMILIES ONLY PLEASE!!! NO PETS!!!
NEW FOR 2024: SHEET RENTAL AVAILABLE. For an additional $100, we will supply one set of each: queen, full and two twins. These will be used, but freshly washed sheets. There are commercial sheet rental services in the area as well such as Linen Fairies @ 856-693-4219. Many people like to rent sheets so they don't have to bring.

Great little home for a family stay with everything you need. Great location, walkable to beach, everything within a block away (Wawa, bank, Walgreens, coffee, breakfast, grocery store). Owner Janice was very responsive to any questions we had and provided all information in great detail. Was a great stay!
This was our second time staying here. Everything was great, arrival was easy, loved sitting on the porch with a book. Easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. Lots to do within walking distance. The Wawa across the street is very convenient but can be loud at odd times of the night.
Very clean, cute house. We had no issues with anything really just on very busy road with super busy Wawa but other than that great. Owner very easy to communicate with.
Stayed over 4th of July week with my two teen daughters. It was the perfect size for the 3 of us (though absolutely could sleep more). 5 blocks from the beach, had everything we needed to cook breakfast if we chose to, clean and tidy. We would stay here again!
Property was very clean and nice. Had a great front and back porch. Property manager was awesome and very helpful! We left person property in one of the rooms and manager sent it to our home. Would definitely stay again!

This was a great little property for a short stay at the shore. Very clean. Close to beach, boardwalk and Asbury Ave. Nice little fenced in courtyard in the back. Very comfortable for our family of four.
What a cute small space centrally located. We loved how convenient it was to walk a few blocks to the boards and beach. The house is small, but arranged with its size in mind. My family of 4 had everything we needed. The fenced in backyard did not disappoint. Comfortable beds too!!
We were so impressed with this property last year we rented again this year. It was very clean home and had everything we needed for our week vacation. The home is decorated so cute with its beach vibe. Communication was great. The process from check in to check out was super easy. The outdoor shower was definitely a plus this year. We will definitely be renting again. Thank you.
Overall, the house was really nice! Taken care of, clean, and right off the best part of the boardwalk for us with kids! Loved sitting on the front porch and the outside shower to get the sand off too!
One thing to keep in mind, teenagers love hanging out at the wawa right across the street, and they were there all night. If you're a light sleeper, I would be wary. However, we slept fine with the windows closed.

Small affordable house
Definitely wasn't that cleanliest house I've stayed in, but it was ok enough. Right next to a bike shop, which was convenient. Only house with little to no parking/driveway so we had to park on the street. Luckily we didn't go when it was busy, so we found decent parking. House had the basics in it, was decorated nicely. Husband accidentally dropped a bowl and she charged us an extra 5 dollars, which isn't something I'm used to from those who rent out their house. Didn't send proof that the one bowl was 5 dollars, but oh well.

Comments are absolutely invalid with regard to cleanliness and parking. I am part of a team that personally cleans this house and you literally could do a "white glove" test for dust. The entire house gets wiped down with anti-bacterial wipes (including windowsills and even baseboards if time allows), still using COVID protocols for any touchable surface, vacuum and wet mop all non-carpeted surfaces. Bathroom and shower are sprayed and wiped down and toilet disinfected. There's no question that this house is clean, and have had many comments stating such. A stray crumb or piece of fuzz can sometimes escape scrutiny but not often. Also there is ample (wide) parking space for one vehicle in the driveway behind the house. It does not fit oversized vehicles such as large pick-up truck or oversized SUV, clearly stated in my VRBO description and my lease. With regard to broken items, it is fully within my rights to charge a renter for damage, usually a minimal charge (if any) and much less than the item is worth. In this case, I refunded the renter's $5, as she was so upset about it. Her being charged is the sole reason she gave this borderline bad review as she mentioned "charging guests for broken tableware likely is not going to make them feel generous when it comes time to review your property". Every other review I've gotten has been extremely positive, and some have mentioned how clean it was. I have to chalk this one up as a disgruntled client. My cleaning team will be as stunned at these comments as I was.

We had a very nice experience. My granddaughter kept calling it the mermaid house. Love the decor. It was great having the Wawa and some restaurants so close by. I hope everything was left in good condition. My husband, son and I had to leave late Friday night for his Dyalisis treatment on Saturday morning back in pa. Thank you so much again! It was good to get away!! Take care Janice and have a wonderful rest of the year!!
We stayed here for almost a week at the end of June with my husband and 3 young children. It was the perfect location for us! Close to the beach/boardwalk and close to all our favorite food spots and parks. They also provided a kid pool that our children had fun with on the nice patio area. Would love to stay here again in the future! Thank you for being so responsive and helpful!
My family and I loved our stay in Ocean City. The property was exactly what was advertised, and the location was great. We were four blocks from the beach. The house is located near many amenities, including two fantastic breakfast spots. We highly recommend this property.

Awesome summer trip. Very affordable comfortable and convenient.
There was everything we needed there. All items were clean including bedding and sofa covers. Neighborhood is very convenient to beach and boardwalk especially crunchchicken. Air condition and television options were great. Parking and sitting area in the back were amazing. Owners are great hosts . Great neighbors as well.
Stayed here a week with husband and 3 young kids. Checkin process was super smooth, communication from owner was excellent. House had everything we needed, and a perfect fenced in area out back for our kids. 5 min walk to boardwalk. The property is cozy but met all of our needs and then some. Beds and pillows were comfortable, AC worked great. Quiet location and decorated so cute. Will be back in the future !
