About this property

10 Anderson Avenue Sandy Point

Modern holiday home comprising 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan living area, games room and a covered front deck.

The lovely surf beach of Sandy Point is only a short walk away and is patrolled during holidays or you may like to take a short drive to Shallow Inlet where you can drive and park on the beach.

The living room has 2 comfortable couches that surround a wood fire and a bluetooth, music system. The kitchen is fitted out with a microwave, fridge, electric oven, Bosch dishwasher and all cooking utensils. There are ceiling fans in the dining area and lounge.

At the front of the house there is a lovely sun drenched covered deck with outdoor dining furniture and a gas BBQ. There is an open back deck which has a small table and seating for 2.

The upstairs games room has a pool table, couch and TV and is a great area for teenagers to relax.

For convenience, the bedrooms can be closed off from the living areas by shutting the hallway door.

The first Bedroom has a queen sized bed as well as an en suite with a separate toilet, the second bedroom has a double bed and third bedroom has 2 single beds. This house can sleep 8 as there are 2 mattresses upstairs in the games room.

The ensuite has a separate toilet.

There is a hot water outdoor shower to wash away the salt and sand.

- Guest Access

You have use of the entire house and yard. Guest access information will be provided the day of your arrival via email. This will include details on how to locate the property, where to locate the key safe, and the key safe combination to access the keys.

- Neighbourhood

Situated approximately 2.5 hours from Melbourne and approximately 40 mins to Wilsons Promontory.
The property is located close to the main beach for swimming, surfing and fishing. Waratah Bay Surf Lifesaving Club patrols the beach over summer; they also have a bar, occasional meals and events.
Launch your boat at Shallow Inlet, just a short 5 minute drive. It's famous for wind surfing, kite surfing and fishing.
The Sandy Point General store is the hub for groceries, bait, petrol, gas, bottle shop and an Australia Post outlet.
A small Mini golf course is located next to our office on Beach Parade (seasonal).
Playgrounds, Tennis courts (equipment can be hired from the General Store), Half basketball court & public bbq areas are located next to the Sandy Point Community Centre.
The Sandy Point Community Centre hosts art festivals, markets & other events over summer.

Sandy Point is a great base for exploring the local region. With Wilsons Promontory a short drive away, you can enjoy a range of short and long hikes that include breath taking beaches, rivers and wildlife encounters.
The historic towns of Fish Creek, Walkerville, Foster, Toora and Meeniyan are an easy drive away, offering outstanding local produce, art galleries, cafes, restaurants and wineries.
Also in easy reach is the historic Cape Liptrap Lighthouse and Walkerville Lime Kilns at the famous Magic Beach, Walkerville South.
The Great Southern Rail Trail (131kms) runs from Nyora to Yarram and can be accessed at Fish Creek, it's ideal for biking or walking.

- Getting Around

Sandy Point is a lovely Village to stroll around, however getting beyond this you will need your own car.


- Other things to note

Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.
Each property in Sandy Point is on tank water and septic systems.
