Mountain House

This house was wonderful for our large group with kids! So clean and spacious with seating for everyone. Evolve was quick with responses and flexible with checkout. Would definitely come back and highly recommend!

What a great house to enjoy the holiday weekend! Our multigenerational family stayed for the weekend and had such a fun and relaxing time! From 80 years old to 6 months old this house was able to accommodate all our needs- the cozy family room, well equipped kitchen, and outdoor fire pit! We spent the weekend cooking/grilling and enjoying big family meals in the breakfast room. We appreciated only 1 television so that our time could be spent playing card games, ping pong and corn hole and most importantly enjoying each other’s company! With short drives to Highlands and Cashiers we were able to explore both towns. We will definitely be back to relax in this beautiful home!

Modern Mountain Mansion Review

The house was perfect for our families! It accommodated 3 families comfortably and the property was beautiful and great for the kids to get outside and explore. The house was cozy and decorated nicely and up to date. It was also a bonus that the house is 5 minutes from downtown Highlands. We will definitely stay here again!

Cozy mountain retreat with all amenities

A beautifully cozy and private retreat with plenty of room for all of the guests in our group. The kitchen is well stocked with beautiful views of the mountains and we loved sitting and enjoying breakfast in the large sun room. The property is large with plenty of room to explore the surrounding forest and creeks but only 5 minutes to downtown Highlands. Our kids loved the game room and every evening included cocktails surrounding the fire pit with amazing views!

We had a wonderful long Easter weekend at Mountain Views with our kids and grandkids. The home is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and stocked with everything you could need for food prep, relaxing with family, gaming, reading and a comfortable nights sleep. The teenagers in the family loved having the third floor to themselves and the parents appreciated that there are not TV’s in every room ( just one in the large family room) and that meant we entertained each other. The location and the property itself makes you feel far away from it all by really you’re not far from town, restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend!!!

Amazing weekend in Highlands mansion

What an amazing property! The view from the firepit is unparalleled! The house was the perfect size for our families with all the amenities for our large group. Game room had everything needed to entertain the kids. We were secluded enough, yet only a 10-minute drive to town. Great hiking trails down Walkingstick Road. We will be back.

Thanksgiving 2025

Thank you for opening up your home for us. The house had ample space for our entire family of 16. Beds and pillows were all comfortable. We loved the property with lots of place to explore (creek and short walk to a small waterfall). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook thanksgiving dinner. Perfect location with amazing view of the mountain.

Splendid !

This was certainly one of the nicest homes I’ve ever been in, and without question the nicest I have ever rented. It was terribly depressing to have to depart from this lovely property. Extremely peaceful, impeccably decorated, and my favorite part was that every single bedroom had its own bathroom. The bedding/sheets/blankets were top notch and subsequently slept like a baby. Wasn’t sure what to expect with a house this size as many homes with 6 bedrooms are awkwardly organized; but all here were very private and thoughtfully decorated as well as feeling like they were their own spaces. As nice as the house was, the property was very just as special and private - on a very low traffic road with a beautiful stream in the back and waterfall a short walk. Absolutely will come back here.

PERFECT for family get togethers!

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at this mountain home! We were there with our kids and extended family, and it was the perfect place to unplug, reconnect, and enjoy time together.One of our favorite things was that there was only one TV -- it naturally encouraged everyone to spend time together instead of disappearing into separate rooms OR stay on our phone! We played games, sat around talking, and simply enjoyed being surrounded by nature.The house itself is incredibly spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Having enough bathrooms for the entire family made a huge difference and made the stay comfortable for everyone.The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. We hosted a full Low Country boil one evening, and everything we needed was already there. It truly felt like a home designed for gathering and making memories.We also loved relaxing around the fire pit each evening and taking a trip into the Cashiers Farmers Market for fresh local goodies. The location is ideal for enjoying both the peaceful mountain setting and nearby attractions.Finally, the home was spotless. It was impeccably clean and beautifully decorate -- thoughtfully designed without sacrificing comfort.This is one of those rare places that brings people together. We left with wonderful memories and can't wait to come back. It's an absolute must-stay for families or groups looking for a beautiful mountain getaway!
