Rocky Ridge is a great location if you are going to Tahoe City. This house was comfortable for our family of 5 and two small dogs. The place itself is “well-loved” and owner items were throughout the place. Beds were ok in comfort with a pretty worn-in mattress in the master bedroom. Towels were nice. It was equipped with plates, glassware etc. The hot/cold in the shower was difficult to control sometimes scalding water would come out of nowhere. The house furnishings were dated, but serviceable. Laundry worked well. Tennis courts were great and play structure for kids. The grounds were well manicured. The advertised pool overlooking the bluff and lake wasn’t open, we were able to use the smaller pool and hot tub. We also utilized the private beach one day, which was nice. Having stayed at many places in this area, I would say the overall value was average.

We appreciate your helpful notes about your stay, and please note that the shower temperature control has already been serviced and fixed. Our condo is accurately pictured as-is, and guests will find that all towels and linens are brand new. Additionally, our lake-view pool is operated seasonally—a detail clearly noted on our site during the early summer months, as it opens for the season on the 4th of July. We hope to welcome you back to Tahoe soon!
