Rocky Ridge is a gated 60-acre community in Tahoe City bordering State Forest land, offering immediate access to hiking and mountain biking trails. Residents and guests enjoy premium amenities, including two seasonal swimming pools and spas, tennis and basketball courts, a playground, Bocce Ball, and a private beach with a pier, clubhouse, and volleyball court.

Our open-concept, two-story rentals feature vaulted mountain-style ceilings, rock fireplaces, and fully equipped kitchens. Each unit includes high-speed Wi-Fi, an in-unit washer/dryer, and all linens. Please note that homes are equipped with central heat and fans, while A/C is rare in Tahoe, we’ve provided fans to keep that fresh mountain air circulating!

Excellent stay

This vacation property had everything we needed. Great location, easy checkin, dog-friendly, and stocked with all supplies required. The unit even had a dutch oven - a first for me while renting units for family vacations. Our group loved all the various nooks and crannies to hang out in. I had to contact the host for a propane tank to BBQ, and I was called within hours to replace our empty one. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rocky Ridge was perfect for my large family. We rented two units to accommodate all of us. I was lead to believe the units were side by side, but when we arrived, they were not. They weren’t far from each other, so we made the best of it. We arrived at check-in time and they hadn’t started on cleaning our units. We were finally able to enter 2 hours later. Both refrigerators were barely cold enough to keep our food from spoiling. Although it was a bad start, the condos are very comfortable and the property is beautiful with all kinds of activities. The private beach is a huge bonus.

Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It has plenty of room and is a great location. We will definitely stay here again. The couches should be updated. They are too small for a place this size and noticeably stained. The kitchen should be revisited as well. There are not enough serving bowls, Tupperware, etc for a place this size, and not enough toilet paper, dish pods or trash bags were provided for the length of our stay, necessitating a trip to the store. Other than that, we felt very comfortable in this house and had a wonderful time.

needs some improvements

We have been coming to this property for 20 years and there have been been no changes as far as the linens. The pull out bed in the den upstairs is horrible. Even our grandchildren were uncomfortable. I needed to pad it, because the springs poked through. However, we did appreciate the new hardwood floors, refrigerator, flat screens and wi fi. We love the property and location.

On the surface the place looked clean but wasn't, clean the carpets more often and they need to up grade the pots and pans. We've stayed in this unit many times over the years and it needs more upgrading!The comforters need to be cleaned more often and the mattress pads need to be changed, especially on the king bed in the master bedroom!
