This creative vacation rental was designed by an extremely talented local artist. It is a short walk to downtown Bar Harbor, the shore, and offers easy access to Acadia National Park. The Island Explorer, located downtown, offers a free bus service to anywhere on the island. Located in a residential area, the top floor of this renovated home is a picture of serenity, peace and quiet. Surrounded by tall trees, the space is reminiscent of dwelling in a luxurious tree house! Enjoy brilliant stars on a custom stargazing bench, relaxing on a walkout deck off the master bedroom, or sitting on the private covered front porch. The spectacular bathroom is the showcase featuring a one of a kind breathtaking tile creation. As you sit in the jacuzzi tub you will be swept away into a vision of Frenchman's bay featuring the elusive Orca whale. Not your average run of the mill vacation rental. Words can not describe what it has to offer.


Golfing: The historic Kebo Vally golf course is located just over the hill, offering world-class golfing.

Children: Directly across the street you will find Glen Mary woods, a city owned park, adjacent is the Glen Mary wading pool, perfect for younger children. Picnic are, restroom and swings are located next to the pool.

Bar Harbor Getaway

Great location in quiet neighbor with easy access to the shops and restaurants in downtown Bar Harbor (10 min walk). Short drive to Acadia. It was a comfortable and relaxing place to return to after biking the carriage trails.

Perfect Location for Our Bar Harbor Stay

This was our first time visiting Bar Harbor and this was the perfect location for us. We could walk to everything in the downtown area, and it was an easy drive to Acadia. The place was incredibly clean and spacious, and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Convenient and cozy

We had a great stay in Bar Harbor! It was super easy to walk into town and onto the shore path, and we were just a short drive away from some great hikes. The house was well-appointed and the owners were very responsive. We hope to return!

Bar Harbor Get Away

Stayed here last week in Aug. Ideal location. Quiet neighborhood away from the main streets but within 10 minutes walking to Bar Harbor restaurants, shops and Acadia bus locations.

Great location

I was very impressed with the location of the house and size of the rooms. The balconies and large tub were great bonuses. One of the rooms got a little bit warm without a fan or A/C, but I imagine those aren't needed most of the year, so that's a minor gripe. All in all, we were very happy to stay here and would consider returning.

This VRBO was perfect for our stay in Bar Harbor! While a lot of stuff is closed in the winter, it was close to everything we wanted to do. The space was clean and a good size for our family of four. Would love to stay here again when we visit!

Two Weeks in Bar Harbor

My fiancé and I enjoyed our two-week stay very much and would recommend this property as a place to stay while exploring Bar Harbor, Acadia, and surrounding areas. Host was very communicative and took great care of us.

Close to town. The upstairs of the house was perfect. Nice balcony, plenty of room, and a plessant family below us.
