We enjoyed our stay here and would book again. The location is perfect for those early mornings heading into the park, and the view is beautiful. Our family of four, including our college age sons, was happy and comfortable here.
Perfect location in Estes and just down the street from Rocky Mountain National Park, lots of wildlife (including a bear!), nice neighborhood to walk in, clean and cozy cabin and we loved the large table to fit multiple people for meals and board games. Kitchen had everything you could need (pots, pans, dishes, spices, coffee, and coffee maker made good coffee).
Beautiful property, very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked and had every appliance that you could possibly need. When we were at the house it seemed like we spent all our time on the deck, the views were amazing. The beds were also comfortable.
We've stayed at this property many times. We love the view and the ability to have family meals at the long dining table. We love the location of this home.
The views from this house are amazing!! We got everything we wanted, it snowed most of the time and we couldn't have had a better view. We saw a deer stand on just it's hind legs to eat from the tree. I am in my 60s and can honestly say this was the best vacation I've ever had.
Our family of 5 kicked off our Colorado vacation here. Great location. Great layout. Great view. Very well equipped. Very responsive to an ant situation.
Hopefully they will put in a door code soon vs having to stop for physical keys.
We returned to this property because we enjoyed it so much three years ago. This trip was just as fantastic as the last trip.I appreciate that the property is clean and well stocked. It was clear to me that property owners are staying on top of things too - swapping out old furniture, dishes, appliances, etc. This goes a long way for travelers like me because too often we will return to a property we loved only to see it go downhill. We were happy that this was not the case for this property. The back deck has the most beautiful view which we enjoyed every day. RMNP is just down the road which was great for us as we hiked every day. We will certainly return again when we come back to Colorado.
We booked this property because of it's convenient location and because it was big enough for two families but when we arrived and realized we shared the same last name as the owners, we knew it was meant to be! We loved the large and open living/dining area, wrap around deck and all the windows!
More counter or storage space in the bathrooms would've been nice, but we made it work!
Very clean! Close to entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. Beautiful view of the mountains from living/dining area and deck!
Enjoyed our stay.....Thanks again!
We would love to give a 4 1/2 or 5 star rating but for the inconvenience of no WiFi most of our stay. The location is so convenient relative to downtown Estes Park and RMNP. The driveway is quite rutted. We awoke one morning to a huge herd of Elk in the yard, grazing! The bull was watching over them closely. We were a bit disappointed that the internet was down when we arrived. When we called about it next morning, we were told that the property manager would come out to reset the router. He tried, but needed to call the internet company, and the first appointment was 2 days later. So modem was replaced the day before we left. The beds were comfortable, except the lower double bunk might have been good for a child, but sagged in the middle with an adult. The kitchen has been updated, with good supplies of pots, pans and spices. Overall we had a great time, wonderful weather, spectacular hikes and views! Thank you!
We had a great overall experience at majestic mountain! The location was perfect and it was nice having three bedrooms and a spacious living room for our stay. Thankfully we weren’t reliant on WiFi for the trip - we were never able to successfully log on and the property manager tried to help but couldnt remedy the situation during the length of our stay. The deck was awesome - we saw elk and a double rainbow from the property.
We have stayed at this home several times, as a second home for our annual family vacation. It's perfect for our family dinners and games after days of hiking or exploring the park. The view is wonderful and the location is central to all areas of the park and the town. We;ll be back!
The house and location were great! Plenty of linens and towels for both families. We loved sitting at the long table for dinners and card games. The only reason marked the Cleanliness as a 4 was the shower curtains had mold, we cleaned, and the washer smelled mildew so we didn't use it. Other than that, the house, bathrooms and kitchen were spotless!!!
Our family had a fantastic time while in Estes Park. House was the perfect location. The views were beyond amazing. The house was very comfortable. Plenty of space to spread out. Upstairs bedrooms were perfect for our teenagers. They would open their windows to get a good breeze going and they slept very well. The bedroom downstairs was great for us. The bed was very comfortable - something that can be tough to find in a rental. Kitchen was very well stocked and the cookware was in great shape. Our family prefers to cook most of our meals so this was a pleasant surprise. We will be returning to this rental the first chance we get.
This is the second time we have stayed at this property and will certainly be returning! We love the location and the view is spectacular! The mid century vibe downstairs is very cool! Can't wait to be back.
This VRBO again met and exceeded our expectations.
Fabulous! We were so lucky to be able to witness a family of elk just outside our property in the early morning hours, (and a herd of elk before entrance to Fern Lake). This property was perfect for our needs. My husband and I were looking forward to a return to Estes Park post children. This VRBO location supplied every need we had with regards to kitchen, bathroom and bedding. Super comfortable bedding in the downstairs master, excellent kitchen supplies, fantastic outdoor patio grill with a magnificent view of the peaceful Colorado Rocky Mountains.
This property is in a great location with a view that can't be beat! It was just right for two of our family units and we loved the mid-century modern vibe downstairs! Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances and gadgets you need! The deck was such a nice place to sit any time of the day. We will be back!
