Hi Mary, I'm sorry you feel that way. I tried to accommodate you and your daughter in every way while you visited your other daughter. I even did a mid-stay housekeeping service while you were away for a couple of days, which is not usually common for private hosting, but I felt it would be nice for you on your return, as you booked for a week. Everyone I've hosted for the past two years has had a great experience, found my place very relaxing, and in some cases has extended their stay. You asked if your other daughter, who was coming to the lake with you, could come and park overnight as well, which I said she could. I asked you when you left if you enjoyed your stay and if you were comfortable, and your daughter said you were. You asked to bring your camping BBQ since I didn't have one for you to use, which I said you could. It's quite clear that we are very near multiple lakes, but the property is not directly on the shores of a lake, which you can see on a map when you book. The free parking booking system is in place for Buntzen Lake (minutes away or you can take a short bus ride) for only one more week and is not usually in place for the whole year. I do make guests aware of it. I've suggested many lakes both near and slightly further for you to visit if you didn't want to go to Buntzen. In the end, you did manage to go there. It's a shame you felt you needed to leave such a low rating, which has now affected my perfect score in my first year hosting on VRBO.
