Very nice well-maintained home. Short walk to the plaza and quiet neighborhood. Communication with the host was easy, as was access to the property. Would have liked to have a few more cooking pans as well as seating in the living room that would accommodate our entire group of 7. Overall, lovely home in good location.
We enjoyed the house and location. Plenty of space for the family and well equipped for meals.
It has an amazing outdoor space that could benefit some additional furniture and a few more fans in the common areas for those hot, summer afternoons.
Our family of 6 stayed in this beautiful home during Thanksgiving week. We loved the kitchen with the large range, fireplace added extra warmth, bedrooms have a private bath, yard has a lovely water feature and we walked everywhere! Fantastic spot!
We loved the multiple outdoor spaces, including the water feature and porch swing in the front. What a great place to relax in the mornings before the sun hits. In the evenings, we enjoyed festive meals at the large table on the back patio. We loved walking on the quiet street with flowers blooming against the adobe walls. A huge plus was the proximity to Canyon Road, within easy walking distance. Our morning ritual included walking to Downtown Subscription for coffee in their lovely patio area. Everyone enjoyed the place and thought it was a great find.
East side is where you want to be. Walk down Canyon to Plaza in 10 mins. Good trees for shade. Quite neighborhood. AC and pet friendly were a must, this delivered well beyond our expectations. Would 100% book again.
We had an amazing stay at this historic home just a few blocks off Canyon Road in Santa Fe. It's in a great downtown location that's close to everything, but quiet and secluded. The property itself is incredibly well maintained, beautifully appointed, with tons of space for the whole family - plus a totally gourmet kitchen! We spent mornings eating breakfast on the back patio and afternoons enjoying the sun (and listening to the little stream!) on the front porch. We couldn't recommend this property enough!
Lovely, warm, spacious, unique, welcoming…wish I could live there!
What a perfect vacation our family had! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. I think it is even better than the photos- everyone had plenty of room & privacy. The outdoor areas added to the charm of the house. We felt safe & loved the neighborhood.
We ended up grilling at the house two evenings because it was so awesome (we usually eat out on vacations.)
I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful Santa Fe gem.
After checking out I received a message from either the proper manager or the owner that they were disappointing because the maintenance person had found one of the seven doors unlocked and a couple other minor issues. After several messages back-and-forth with that person and my two brothers and their spouses Are determined that the check out in securing of the house was done properly. One of my brothers and his spouse are property owners and renters also. They documented the closing of the property with photos and videos. After sharing that information with the person I was dealing with The accusations of being in properly secured we’re not pursued by the owner or the manager. Regarding the refund and the damage deposit I was told it would be remitted at some point. I could not learn when that remittance of the damage deposit would be made back to me. All of the payments and fees that are used to secure the property were paid immediately upon request and I would expect the damage deposit to be returned to me in a timely manner and as a state it has not. Other than that checkout process Thursday was very good the property is lovely comfortable and well equipped for cooking.
Great property, lovely location but the patios were practically unusable because of the giant apricot tree which covered the ground every day with apricots I've never seen such a massive tree. Maybe they could somehow net the tree and capture the fruit every day
What an amazing property!! The place is absolutely gorgeous and comfortable and is perfectly located close to Canyon Road and the main square. We had such an amazing time and the check in and check out process was super easy. Would highly recommend!
Our stay in the Historic Eastside home was incredible. We stayed with a small group of friends and our kids, really enjoyed our first time touring Santa Fe and having such a wonderful place to stay. To start off, we flew into Albuquerque airport, rented a car for an easy drive to Santa Fe. We rented an SUV just because we were unsure of the road conditions and driving up the mountain for skiing. Overall, road conditions were well plowed, and it was an easy / stress free drive up the mountain to get to the ski resort. Skiing was awesome, the mountain is great, definitely recommend visiting the mountain during your stay if you can. Back to the house, again would definitely recommend. Plenty of space for multiple families with kids. The rooms were spacious, plenty of room for multiple people in the room and suitcases. It was great to have a bathroom for each room to have our own space as well. The general living space had plenty of room for multiple families to hang out and move around, eat meals, kids to play and kitchen had everything we needed for the stay. The living room fireplace was amazing, we would sit by the fire in the evening and chat. The house is decorated nicely, had everything we needed for a pleasant time and overall the space was perfect for our stay. We had some great weather and would sit outside in the backyard and let the kids run around, so great place to enjoy both inside and outside. We even walked from the house to a park nearby, checked out the Santa Fe architecture with the homes in the neighborhood and restaurants and shops in the area. House is centrally located, easy walk and drive to access all things that you will want to do when visiting Santa Fe. If you are considering booking this house, do not hesitate, its definitely worth it with everything it offers and you will be so glad you did!
The house is a true gem in the heart of Santa Fe and was a wonderful home base to explore the city. The home is quiet and private with areas inside and out to relax and enjoy time alone or with friends. The kitchen is well stocked and enjoyable to cook in. We cooked at home and also went out and enjoyed some terrific food in the city. You can walk to several galleries and restaurants and coffee spots. This was a work/vacation trip for six of us, and it worked out well. The Internet was very fast, and there were enough areas to spread out and work but also come together to enjoy the company of family and friends. The photos don't do justice to this gorgeous property. The owner and manager were very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!
