Fantastic location and room enough for 6 adults and a baby. Wonderful view of the mountains right in the backyard practically and the host was the best ever!
This property is beautiful and located in a great area of Colorado Springs. The host was wonderful with giving us instructions and check and check out process was very easy. The home was spacious and very clean. We enjoyed the deck and used the hot tub several times which was also very clean. I am definitely saving this property to my favorites list as it was a very comfortable stay.
Beautiful views and a great location. However, this was probably one of the worst places we've stayed.First, the host never sent us the check-in instructions. I had to reach out around 10:30a.m. on the day of our arrival before receiving them. Once we got them, the check-in process itself was fairly easy.We arrived at the house around 5:00 p.m. after driving from Denver and spending some time hiking. When we walked in, the house was 80F in the middle of July with no air conditioning running. We turned the AC on immediately, but more than half of the vents in the house weren't working. We contacted the host, and to their credit, they sent someone out within an hour to repair it. However, it still took more than 24 hours for the house to cool from 80F to 72F.The first night was extremely uncomfortable. My husband couldn't sleep because it was so hot, and we had to leave the upstairs king bedroom and move into one of the downstairs queen bedrooms because the upstairs was unbearable.Unfortunately, the beds weren't much better. The mattresses were thin and uncomfortable, and the pillows were lumpy. We ended up going to Target to buy our own pillows. The patio table and chairs were very dirty, and the weeds in the backyard were overgrown. While the interior of the house was mostly clean, the couches had noticeable stains and holes, which made the property feel worn and poorly maintained.
