Our stay was great. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Was very convenient to restaurants and attractions. We will use it again if available for our next trip.

The best

We had a great weekend .We saw elk and a chipmunk. It was so cool. We made s’mores by the creek and enjoyed the campfire. The cabin was so nice and clean.

Sitting on the porch of this cabin the first day, we immediately relaxed hearing the water in the babbling brook across the road. It has a very quiet neighborhood. We could hear the Elk calling out to each other in a nearby pasture. One morning a herd of 9 (2 bulls with large racks, and 7 cows and calves) walked next to our cabin and onto the backyard…one came so close to the back steps we could have petted it (but did not!)..definitely the highlight of our stay! We drove to two orchards for apple picking, enjoyed the Smoky Mountain train ride from Bryson City to Dillsboro, (both close by cities), and browsed the many unique shops. There are so many restaurants to choose from!Waynesville is just a few miles away, with the Mast General Store and Candy Barrel…again, lots of stores and restaurants. Joey’s Pancake House in Maggie Valley is a MUST..the warm cinnamon apples are a treat! What we liked most about this cabin was its comfortable living area and bedrooms. The cabin was very clean, with ample kitchen amenities, and ready hot showers. It has an easy short drive to access Soco Road (the main road)…no hilly (or icy) roads to traverse, It is the perfect location to enjoy a short hike along a forested road in front of the cabin. We communicated with our accommodating and welcoming host…she is a true gem!! We highly recommend staying in this cabin…we wish we could have stayed another week!

Beautiful

Our experience was the best ever! The scenery was great, seeing the Elk was the coolest. The location was the best as well. We had the best time and the house was the most organized, cleanest we've ever stayed in. Definitely a 10/10, we look forward to staying there again the the future.
