Very well equipped. Beautiful home. Quiet. Feel like you're alone. Close to attractions and shopping. We went for family time during Christmas. Recommend as host decorates for the Holiday.
We had a wonderful time in the mountains! With March you never know what the weather will be. We enjoyed our time on the deck with the fire pit and plenty of blankets to keep us warm! A pink sunset was a delight! This house may be one of the older homes in the neighborhood but is was perfect for us. It is close to trails and Blowing Rock. Our Host was very helpful and she had all that we needed for our stay. We especially appreciated being dog friendly! Bo loved the deck!
We stayed for the weekend to explore Boone and ring in the new year. It snowed both days and it was absolutely perfect. The house was very spacious for us. We had a great time. Would recommend to anyone visiting blowing rock
The main floor bathroom door doesn't work and a queen bed is broken. I called the owner by message, but she said she can't help us. She knows about the issue prior to our stay as she chats on Vrbo.
Annette’s place has a great location in a quiet neighborhood.
It’s a 10-minute drive from Blowing Rock and area restaurants. In town, try Bistroroca for dinner and Village Cafe for a great breakfast or lunch. Thai Moon sushi on 221 is also great for take out. The Table at Crestwood Inn is a good dinner option.
Weekend was great. House is in a perfect location and great neighborhood!
House was very clean. We had all items needed for our stay and the host is very helpful. We will definitely rent again.
Super location to access blowing rock stores, restaurants etc
The property was as described and very nice. Quite an interesting build in fact with two decks and plenty of space. Annette was very responsive, even while traveling. The place was well stocked, well laid out and well taken care of. As we missed the turn a couple of times, the road just before is Mistletoe with the sign on the left from Blowing Rock. The very next road with little separation is the one with sign on the right from Blowing Rock. It's easy to miss when dark and foggy.
Annette’s cabin was a perfect reprieve for our family’s thanksgiving getaway. The cabin was clean and the neighborhood quiet. We enjoyed bringing our two little dogs with us and took many walks with them. The view was beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with pans and dishes if you plan on cooking your own meals. The king bed was a bit firm for us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Comfortable home in quite neighborhood of Misty Mountain. Wood burning fireplace in the den great on those chilly nights and mornings. Propane fire pit on the back deck with a view of Grandfather Mountain. It’s well located and easy to access from 221. The kitchen is well equipped with the basics. It’s nice that pets are welcome and we enjoyed being allowed to bring our dogs with us. Bass and Trout lakes are a short drive and good places to walk them. We definitely plan to stay there again.
Lovely home in woods. Nice open kitchen, large living/ dining area, multiple large porches with plenty of seating. 3 good 2 good sized bedrooms and 1 large bedroom with sitting / playarea. Easy access to Blowing rock. Road Loop was great for walking (steep uphill at times) with beautiful views.
The property is in a great location; it has a wonderful view, is in a nice quiet neighborhood for walking, and is a short, easy drive from Blowing Rock. The kitchen is well-stocked and the grill is very nice. We had most of our meals in the cabin, and it worked out great. The furniture, beds, and towels are all high-quality; we were very comfortable.
A couple things to be aware of: there is little sound isolation between the living room upstairs and the bedrooms downstairs. It can be difficult to sleep if others are awake and active upstairs if you are a light sleeper. As with any home, the cabin is in need of a couple minor repairs (door latch, tub faucet), but nothing that impacted the stay.
We had a great weekend away and would definitely stay there again.
The online negative thing was the doors didn’t lock and the upstairs bathroom door didn’t latch at all. So our far babies and toddlers pushed the door open on me taking a shower until I was able to get my husband attention to stand guard til I was done. Loved being able to take my far babies along with us!
