What an amazing surprise to see so much wildlife. We look forward to having you back next year.
A truly beautiful home in a beautiful area. House has everything you need and is very spacious. A great central location for Livingston, fishing, visiting Bozeman, and access to Yellowstone park all in the same trip. The house location and views exceeded expectations and it doesn’t get better for Mountain views, sunsets/rises, stargazing at night, and quiet relaxation.

We are so happy the property exceeded your expectations and hope future guests have the same experience!
It is hard to describe how incredible the views are from almost every room in the house! We so much enjoyed our stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat!
We had an awesome family vacation at this property. The views are amazing and house is gorgeous. We all loved looking at all the wildlife from the large windows. Very secluded and that is exactly what we were looking for.
Couldn’t have picked a better place than the Arrowhead Lodge property for our group of 9 (3 kids).
The views from inside and outside this house are unmatched.
Plenty of space to be together and a quick trip into Livingston or Bozeman for lots of places to eat and things to do.
Deck furniture is warm and has some protruding nails but otherwise the house is just outstanding to enjoy. We saw deer, antelope, and elk.
Very much appreciated having access to this property to make many lasting family memories.
Our family, my grown children and their spouses, surprised my husband with a big family vacation to Montana for his 60th! He was so excited. We had the best trip, jam packed with activities and sight seeing! This property was just what the Dr ordered!.. long range views, big sky, vast land, and complete quiet except for the sounds of nature. An absolutely fabulous property! We had a house full but everyone still was able to find privacy and not be on top of each other. My husband loved the property and we are all still talking excitably about our trip! Everything was perfect!

The "host" seemed to be a company which always makes it harder to review because I don't know how many different people responded to me, but overall the house was beautiful and did have quite a few amenities. However I have a few issues overall with the rental. We went over Christmas and there was no snow which was really unfortunate because the house was 1 hour from Bozeman and 2 hours from Big Sky. We paid extra for Christmas decor and I felt that it was really overpriced for what we received. The Master bedroom was beautiful but the bed was AWFUL. Sleeping on it for 6 days actually caused sleep deprivation. It was so firm that all 12 people who tried it felt it was way too stiff to sleep in. Due to high winds the main window of the panoramic view was broken and boarded up which was right in the center of the panoramic viewing area. The fireplace was off limits which was surprising since we are in this beautiful cabin and we couldn't run the fireplace (coming from California, this was disappointing). We wanted to drive to Bridger bowl area for snow since there was no snow on or near the property but the property did not have any sleds or ways to sled down a hill and we were too far away from a Walmart or place to buy a sled so we were left no options to tube down any hills that did have snow. I think the property would have been a bit more fun if there was snow but without snow and also being so far from other towns, made it difficult to stay in for 6 days.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for spending the holidays with us! We truly appreciate hearing from our guests, as it helps us continue improving the experience we provide.
This winter has been unusually mild across southwest Montana, and we understand how disappointing it can be to visit during the holidays without snow. While weather conditions and snowfall are unfortunately outside of our control, we always encourage guests to consider location and seasonal variability when planning longer stays.
We appreciate your comments regarding the Christmas décor package and the primary bed. Comfort preferences can vary, but we have shared this feedback with our homeowners for consideration moving forward.
Regarding the panoramic window, several strong windstorms shortly before your arrival caused unexpected damage. For guest safety, the window was temporarily boarded, and repairs were promptly scheduled and completed for future reservations.
As noted in the listing and house rules, the fireplace has been non-operational for several years and is not permitted for use. We understand this may be surprising for some guests and strive to ensure this information is clearly communicated prior to arrival.
Our home is intentionally located in a quiet, rural setting, which many guests choose for privacy and views, though it does mean amenities and shopping are farther away than in town. We always recommend planning ahead for activities and supplies when staying in more remote locations.
We’re glad you enjoyed the beauty of the home and its amenities, and we truly appreciate your candid feedback. We wish you all the best and thank you again for choosing to stay with us! ~ Mountain Home Vacation Rentals
8 men there to stay while fishing the Yellowstone River. Five nights. First the not so good: there are three bathrooms for six bedrooms and towing are en suite to the two largest bedrooms. The other four bedrooms share the third one. There are also two half baths on the main floor. There is only one BR on main floor and the stairs down to the other five are tricky (no handrail first half).
Not for the elderly. The good: beautiful site! And beautiful structure spotlessly clean and very well equipped. A bit remote, but the we saw bears, deer, antelope, turkey daily and the balcony/deck was for beautiful sunsets. We had a great time and would do again if not quite so expensive. But there’s nothing comparable any where near. Glad we went!
We took a church group here for mission work and loved this location. We could wait to see the sunrise every night and sunrise
In the morning! Simply amazing views and so much wildlife!
Words are not adequate to describe this home and property. Beautifully maintained home on large acreage. Wildlife, trout fishing, stargazing, mountain scenery all around. The big decks allow relaxing any way you like. The home is an easy drive to THE park. No boredom here. As a bonus shopping is only a short drive.
