This property is in a great location. A few miles from Monarch for great skiing and plenty of trails for snowshoeing in the area. We also love the close proximity of Salida, our favorite mountain town. Beautiful accommodations and private hot tub cannot be beat!

We are so happy you had a relaxing stay at the chalets and felt it was nicely appointed. The hot springs at Mt. Princeton are a lovely place to relax and a beautiful area to explore. Glad you got to enjoy the stars and a soak in the evenings to unwind at the chalets. Thanks for staying and for being lovely guests.
Location was perfect for a ski trip to Monarch. Right between the mountain and Salida.

We are so happy the chalets were a good home base for your ski trip to Monarch! We hope to have you back for more awesome ski trips with your family. Thanks for staying and for being great guests.
Love the cabin! The hot tub was great (private per cabin) the bed was nice, spacious, and we loved the creek! Our only complaint was that this cabin was close to the highway so you could hear the semis. Also it was connected to the cabin right next to it separated by a door, which wasn’t really a problem for us but we set up our infant son in the second bedroom (the room that’s connected) and I had fears that our neighbors could hear him cry if and when he did... overall great place and we would go back!

We are so happy that you had a lovely experience with your family at the chalets. The location of the property is convenient to access skiing and tons of outdoor adventures but unfortunately, the road noise can be apparent when the trucks brake on the corner. We have little kids too and understand the fear of the baby crying and waking someone up nearby. I recommend one of the stand-alone chalets next time for enhanced privacy. Thanks for sharing your experience and we hope to have you back again in the future.
The place was lovely and 2 of the workers were nice, accommodating and helpful. The only fly in the ointment was that on the last day when we were leaving, the owner told us we had “wrecked the hot tub“. We had used it three times, but not in anyway dissimilar to our hot tub usage at many other places. We brought no food or drinks around, and we did not allow our children to jump in and out. However it was freezing and ice had frozen on the sidewalk where water had splashed out. He wanted to charge us $50 for misuse. Eventually he agreed not to charge us but was clearly very angry. So please if you use the hot tub be excessively careful about splashing water and make sure everyone takes a full shower before getting in. Dec 20, 2013

We are so happy that you enjoyed your time together at the chalets. We work very hard to keep the hot tubs in pristine condition and it is very frustrating to find them used in a manner that is unacceptable for the next guest to enjoy, especially over the holidays when the property is sold out. We apologize this left a bad taste in your mouth, it was a learning experience for us and we are constantly striving to improve our operations and create a wonderful experience for all of our guests. The property is great and Nobody needs to be wary of using the hot tub, we expect all of our guests to enjoy them and we rarely encounter this scenario. Thanks!
