About this property

Location! Location! Location! Nice cove and close to all lake activities!

Looking for an affordable property with a great location then this is it!

We are located about a mile from Bridgewater Plaza, grocery stores, several boat ramps and restaurants. Enjoy our large dock for fishing, swimming or just hanging out ! The master bedroom has a Queen size bed with it's own private bath. The second bedroom has a queen size and twin bed and shares a hall bath. Have dinner on the back deck complete with a gas grill. Located on a private cove lot with over an acre of land you will have plenty of room to park boat trailers. The path to the water is a gentle slope leading to the large dock and sandy beach. A swing on the dock is a perfect place to enjoy the lake and the view. The large dock is available with the property but we keep our boat in the lift however there is plenty of space to tie up your boat at the floating dock.
If you are looking for affordable and convenient then this is the place for you. Just a note about the walk to the water since we have had a few comments on it. From the house to the water is approximately 280' it is not a steep grade as some on the lake are but also not a flat lot!



We are pet friendly but please just let us know in advance.

This was one of the cleanest properties we have stayed at. Our host answered my questios quickly and was very gracious about one request. The rooms were nice sized with plenty of room for two pet beds for our furbabies. The master bath had plenty of room and two sinks! Just like home. We had a great time and will stay at this property again. It is near a grocery store and there are restaurants close by. What more could you want.

Great location. Great cove for swimming and boating. Very steep and long hill to water. Not good for any elderly vistors. Very noisey cove because of 5 very large rental houses next to it. Overall the trailer was very comfortable, but the main bedroom bathroom was very mold smelling. No water view from the trailer deck..

Fishing Tournament Weekend

Had a great stay. House was clean and everything was how it was supposed to be. Nice dock with power and close to a local boat ramp. We will be staying there again in the future.

Perfect for a family trip to Smith Mountain Lake!

The property was very clean and comfortable for my son, grandson and I. The kitchen was well equipped with dinnerware, silverware, glasses and pots and pans. The grill was great for an evening of burgers! Even my miniature dachshund loved it! We will definitely plan to stay there again!

PERFECT GETAWAY LOCATION

This was our second time staying here and we will definitely be returning again! Perfect location near the Bridgewater plaza marina. Shops, food, boat rentals, miniature golf, live music etc...Access to the lake with a dock. The property managers are amazing! Very accommodating and friendly. You don't want to miss out on this one!

Perfect location!

This was probably the cleanest property I’ve ever stayed in. House was easy to find. The dock and beach were wonderful and perfect for our kids. It was a little strange to bring your own sheets and towels, that was a first for us. If you forget them there is a dollar general about 2 miles away. Also a grocery store if you plan on cook while you are there. Owners were nice.

Quiet cove

This was a great little spot to put in a kayak and paddle around the coves. Owner says tournament bass in the area. I lost a bass at the final reel in. Weather was too cold for much success. Definitely a work out bringing kayaks back up the hill, even with the wheels underneath. Great location and great hosts!

Great Dock!

We enjoyed our stay at SML this year. The house was good- especially for the price point. The dock area was our favorite spot of the vacation home. The dock was big and the swing was great. The cove was really nice- low wake area but close to Bridgewater plaza. The property is on a hill, but its not near as bad (steep) as other properties we have stayed at previously. The sandy beach by the dock was great for my younger son and dogs to get in and out. Also- great for kayaking. Grocery store and restaurants within 10/15 min. The bed in the 2nd bedroom seems to be newer than in the master- so you may want to give your kids the master! The 2nd bathroom had much better shower pressure and drainage. Only had one problem and the owner was very quick to respond. They were very nice. The grill was great on the outside deck- it seems to be maintained well as food didn't stick to the grill and was easy to start.

We had such a great time at Smith Mountain Lake!! The house was perfect for us and our doggie and the dock was incredible. We loved the area and enjoyed a few wineries and some good food. Thanks for letting us share your place!

Our cozy annual lake weekend

We love this cozy, cute property! It's the only place that is reasonably priced where we can bring all three of our dogs. It's right on the lake so we usually rent a boat for the day that we can dock there and then spend the other day swimming with the dogs. They love the property as much as we do! I highly recommend the location for a long weekend (or week) away to relax. We will be back next year!

Clean and quiet

We absolutely loved staying with Sharon and Warren. We barely knew that they live next door. This mobile home was probably the cleanest and most inviting places I've rented on VRBO. Our family very much enjoyed the private dock, and the quietness of the cove that protected us from the main channel. We will most definitely consider coming back!

Young family friendly house in the perfect location

I came with my young family (kids: 2, 5, 6) and this house ws perfect. The beach is great to let them explore the water and the dock is great for swimming and docking our boat. The entire property was clean and well maintained. We felt safe and comfortable all week. The house is located perfectly on the lake. In a quiet cove close to all the fun activities. We're planning on returning and I would recommend to anyone.
