Located on Horsepasture River, the sight and sounds of rushing water can be enjoyed from the back porch or the fire pit of this beautifully appointed and cozy townhome called Bear Glen. Direct walk-in to the first floor of the home, which features an updated kitchen, rustic wood floors, and stacked stone fireplace. Three bedrooms, including the primary bedroom, all with en suite bathrooms are located on the second floor. The third floor features an additional bedroom, full bathroom, and reading nook. Front and back balconies with seating and gas grill, two washing machines and two dryers, are also available. In the oversized garage, you will find games such as a ping pong table, cornhole, and a plastic axe throwing set.

Fantastic, yet private and quiet location in walking distance to a number of restaurants and local recreation. Walkable restaurants include Mica’s, The Library Kitchen and Bar and Slopeside Tavern. Amenities include indoor/outdoor pool, putt-putt, fitness center, playground, golf, live music on the slopes, Vordach zip line, and more. Sapphire Valley ski resort, which offers snowboarding, skiing and tubing, is also within walking distance.

Pleasant townhouse in Sapphire Valley

One of several homes rented for family reunion. Worked out well for extended family that includes a wide age range. Great base for accessing courts, pool, lake, and a multitude of nearby hikes. We hope to return.

Loved this place!

From the front door to the third floor bedroom, this condo met our needs very well. It is pleasantly decorated and fully stocked. A big plus for us four women was that there is a private bathroom for each bedroom. We used the fireplace and even made a fire in the fire pit. We loved it!

Camp Sapphire July 4th Family Fun

Amazing from start to finish. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Cashiers. Incredibly well appointed, charming and extremely conveniently located with a fabulous owner who saw to our every need! I have passed it on to multiple friends here who need overflow accommodations but have high standards for their stays. Thank you for everything and we will definitely be back! Beautiful home close to everything

This was our second stay in this beautiful home. The Sapphire amenities are a big plus. The property is great for families. Plenty of space to spread out and chill after a full day enjoying the outdoors. We will be back!

Fabulous

We loved everything about this property! It was beautiful and very clean. It is a great location near Cashiers and the amenities on the property were great for children. We used the fire pit outside and enjoyed the sound of the water in the creek. The porch provided a great place for morning coffee. It really is a gem! There were plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. Great service from the owner as well. We hope to return again.

great property. great location. perfect if you have small kids ( we did not). very close to Cashiers. the owner has a FABULOUS binder that provides tons of info on restaurants, hikes, shopping, etc. you are a two minute drive to an Ingles grocery store. we truly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful and spacious in a great location

We had an excellent stay at this wonderful townhouse. Very clean, spacious and fully stocked. The entire process was easy from booking, check in to check out. The location is perfect for access to Sapphire, Cashiers, Glenville and Toxaway. The access to the Sapphire Resort amenities was a huge perk especially for entertaining kids. I highly recommend this property to anyone traveling to the area!

Exceeded Expectations

This was one of the few times where the pictures didn’t do the property justice. We loved staying here and being able to walk to the community and rec center along the river path. The owner was very friendly quick to respond to my questions. Don’t hesitate on this condo - it’s well worth it!!

Wonderful mountain getaway

Great location! We got to Pisgah National Forest, Sliding Rock, Whitewater Falls, Whiteside Mountain, Cherokee, Smoky Mountain National Park and Dry Falls. It was a great spring break trip for both the adults and kids. There are numerous amenities to take advantage of and great restaurants close by. I highly recommend this property.

Such a clean and nicely decorated townhome. We enjoyed our stay. Perfect location to the Sapphire Ski Resort. We loved the third floor room with trundle beds for the kiddos. Property owner was very communicative and we will definitely be back.

Snow Weekend

We booked a last minute long weekend trip to take our kids to see snow for the first time and boy did we luck out. Not only did we get plenty of snow but we found the perfect rental townhouse! Super clean, super comfortable, this host goes above and beyond. The townhouse has a great layout and everything you could need for a quick trip or and lengthy stay. We would book again without question winter, spring, summer or fall. Can't thank you enough for providing such a lovely place.

Perfect Christmas Condo!

Great location, beautiful decor, and well-stocked for Christmas baking/cooking. We even received snow on Christmas Eve for our first white Christmas in many, many years. Location was convenient for tubing at Sapphire Valley Ski and shopping in Cashiers. Christy was quite helpful with restaurant suggestions and responded quickly to any messages requesting assistance or just general questions about the property. My husband said over and over how comfortable the master bed was and now he's shopping for us one like it! With 4 adults needing room to be together during meals, TV, and games, we also needed spaces of our own so each bedroom having an en suite bathroom was perfect. If we decided to visit this area again, we'll definitely request this great condo.

Perfect layout and well stocked.

The townhome was perfect for two families of four. It was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need, even those little things you sometimes forget. It was amazingly quiet and we really enjoyed the fire pit. The location is great, too. It is so close to some amazing hikes and waterfalls.

Property was exactly as described and the property owner was very responsive. Great location and easy to access. Kitchen was well equipped and I really appreciated that there were enough disposables (toiletries, trash bags, etc) provided that we didn't have to go to the grocery store immediately on arrival. Highly recommend.

Great Townhouse/ Great Location

We had a wonderful time in Sapphire and the surrounding area. Saw 16 amazing waterfalls, ate delicious dinners, hiked beautiful trails and enjoyed the incredible Fall foliage. Every night we enjoyed returning to our home away from home. Loved the spaciousness and comfort of the home and the fireplace.
