No Stairs for the "Dream home" to get in. Dream home is only 3 miles from Mayo/Gonda building and St. Mary's. 4 bedrooms and 2 bathroom are on the main floor. Four bedrooms have queen sized beds. Over 2,800 square feet for you to enjoy. Relax in a safe neighborhood. There are 0 steps to get into the home. Hardwood floors on the main level. We are only 1 blocks from strip mall, restaurants, and 8 blocks to Walmart grocery store. We also have 7 additional houses downtown if this one is full. A single-car garage is attached to the house. 2 spots in driveway for additional cars. Parking is allowed on the street. If this house is full please check out one of our many additional houses.
The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator/freezer, oven/range and cooking utensils, Keurig and regular 12 cup coffee makers, small electric appliances, a pot/pan set, baking pans, glassware, cutlery, Corelle dishware, plastic dishware for kids and a high chair. A basic selection of cooking spices and condiments is stocked in anticipation of your arrival.
There is a 'Smart' TV which has several apps to access YOUR personal Netflix, Amazon Prime, or other personal streaming TV accounts. There is unique trim work throughout the dining, living and office room. There is high speed wireless internet service available throughout the house. There are alarm clocks at each bedside. Please also check out the assortment of DVDs, board games, jigsaw puzzles, toys, and books for your use. There is central air and heating in the house. The bathroom has a full bath with shower. The master bedroom also has a Smart TV. There is high speed internet. Many guests work and attend school while staying with no problems.
In the basement there is a washer and dryer for you to use. There is an iron and ironing board available for you use.
No smoking is allowed in the house. Please use the back yard if you need to smoke. Pets are not allowed in the house, due to many people having allergies and medical issues. We have a rental certificate to rent this home legally to you.
Check in states 4pm but most likely we will be able to get you in earlier. We will send you a message through VRBO when the house is available for you.

Darin and I (Jessica) came to Rochester in 2000 after graduating from college at Bethany Lutheran College and at Minnesota State University of Mankato. We both come from small towns in Minnesota. We lived in California for two years from 2001-2003. We purchase our first home in 2003 in Rochester. We joined a church the same year. I also started my own online book business that same year as Darin continued working in the technology industry. We had our first child, Isabella, in 2005 and the blessings of children began and so did my second job of being a stay at home mom. We had Bryce in 2006. My health wasn't in the best shape to continue having children. When I was able to, we decided to try for Olivia and in 2010 she arrived. In 2011 Elana completed our family. She began Kindergarten in 2017, so it was my time for my next adventure of care taking by starting Covered By Faith short term living.
Why they chose this property
In 2020 I got a phone call 5 minutes prior to my KTTC interview (about covid-19 and how it affected short term rentals) which is the local TV station here in Rochester MN stating they had decided from the open house who they were going to sell the house to. I told him I was never informed about an open house and didn't even know the house was up for sale. He said “Oh, sorry I thought I had contacted everyone who was interested in the house.” I was too worried about my interview and let it go as it wasn't meant to be. A month went by and at 6am I was reading my email from Zillow and noticed the address and said that address looks very familiar. Sure enough it was this house up for sale. A real estate agent bought it and then flipped the house. (But little did I know that till months later.) We were not going to be able to go see the house till 4pm that evening. By noon I received another email from Zillow.com for this house again with a $50,000 price reduction. My son turned to me and said “God did that for us so we could afford the house.” I told him he was right.

Bowlocity Entertainment is 5.5 miles away (Bowling, Arcade, Laser Tag). Rental at 800 West Silverlake Dr. NE, Rochester is only 3.7 miles away which has self-propelled boats on the river, canoeing or kayaking down the Zumbro River, or biking through the city.
