What a pleasant stay! Location was just perfect for visiting North Lake. The condo was clean, stocked, and super cozy. We would definitely stay there again!
Thanks Julie. It was great hosting you and your family for a second time! Love that you returned for another visit. And we’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and we’re comfortable! Until next time…

This place was perfect for a long weekend with my adult kids. The place was exactly as described with comfy beds and pillows plus everything else we needed. Loved having access to the garage for storing all of our toys (golf clubs, SUPs, etc). Will be back!
We enjoyed our time here; place is thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. Thanks for everything! The kids didn't want to leave.
Heed the warnings about the driveway - it snowed 8 inches while we were there and getting out was a bit adventurous.
It's always nice to stay at a VRBO for a week or less and not have to worry about soap, shampoo, tp, and paper towels. Excellent supply of linen and towels.
Backyard patio backs up to trees which makes it so nice.

Clean place. Host was great letting us check in an hour early. The family that lives upstairs has young children that run around early in the morning. It’s very loud.

Hi Michael. We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay! Come back anytime as we’d love to host you again. I hope you and your family enjoyed all the games we had for your family time!
As for the noise, the family upstairs is a single mom with a 10 year old daughter and I believe the daughter had a slumber party with 2 of her friends that night. I’m sure they were excited to be together. I’m glad they followed the quite hours guidelines (as you mentioned privately to me) from 8am-10p which I hope didn’t cause you too much of a problem. Again, thank you for choosing our Tahoe Donner condo!
This is a great townhome with a cozy cabin feel that was perfect for our winter getaway. We have 3 kids under 9 and there was plenty of space, a functional kitchen where we were able to cook several meals, it was close to the rec center where we went sledding, as well as many ski resorts, and only 3.5 miles from historic downtown Truckee with lots of shops and restaurants. The hosts graciously stocked the place with everything to make our stay enjoyable and were very responsive. There was plenty of parking and a heated driveway which was extremely helpful with the foot of snow that dropped during our stay. Would highly recommend this property.
Comfortable home with all the amenities for a relaxing stay. Close to all anenities. Recommend to clean off deck in summer as very dusty on arrival. Change out tub mats. Thank you. I enjoyed the relaxing and quiet ambiance.
Teri and Jim’s condo is perfect for a small family. We were impressed with the layout, new furnishings and cleanliness. It is set up with simplicity but with all the things you might need. The beds, bedding and towels are new and super comfy. The code key access was easy to use and convenient. It is apparent that a lot of love and care went into preparing the condo. We also appreciated the guest gift!

Fun winter break stay with two adults and two young children. From pre check-in to after, Terri was extremely responsive. There was a major storm in the area and she went out of her way to make sure we were safe. As for the home, it was very clean, well equipped and everything was labeled, which was especially nice. We will 100% be back. Thank you for everything.

Thanks amanda. So glad you enjoyed your wintery, snowy stay! Glad you traveled home safely and we look forward to hosting you again!
We stayed at this property with my partner and another couple for a ski weekend in Truckee and we were all impressed with how clean/spacious the property was and how thoughtful and helpful the hosts were. We stayed during a weekend of immense snowpack and were a bit concerned with the intense winter weather conditions. The property was well maintained, and we were able to safely access the driveway/entry ways. The space was very clean and fresh upon our arrival and figuring out the keypad lock system was a breeze. The hosts were very thoughtful and everything we needed was available to us. Particular highlights were the spacious/well-stocked kitchen and nice refrigerator, security bars for the sliding glass/bedroom windows, and lovely gas fireplace. We were also gifted with a lovely welcome basket by the hosts that included a delicious bottle of Pinot Noir. If this place is available, I would highly recommend booking it, you won't regret it!

Thanks Jesse! Glad you enjoyed your stay and our condo! Come back and see us again. Looks like there are many more great ski weekends ahead!
My sister and I met in Tahoe for a few days of skiing. We wanted to be close to Truckee and Sugarbiwl and this was the perfect spot. The condo was beautiful; far brighter and well decorated than the photos conveyed. The original artwork and handcrafted notes throughout were a beautiful understated touch. The kitchen was fully stocked, appliances shiny and new, living room comfy and cozy and bedrooms inviting, with huge beds with layers of warm comforters and quality sheets. The garage was tiny but my Audi Q5 fit (just barely). This winter there was a deep layer of ice at the bottom of the driveway that made it tricky for my sister without all wheel or four wheel drive, so beware of this possibility. The hosts were 100% available to answer questions and assist when asked. We couldnt have had a better experience and would love to go back again and again!

Our family had a fantastic stay at this condo. It’s super cute and even had some Christmas decorations that made it feel extra homey. The condo is very clean and well equipped. There are instructions around the home that make it really easy to use all the amenities. The beds are comfy and all the linens are fresh and soft. Communication with the owners was simple and they were very responsive and great hosts! Thanks for the great memories!

We have been enjoying the Tahoe Donner and Truckee area for over 35 years! We love the mountains both during the summer months and winter. The fresh mountain air, beautiful crystal clear lakes and amazing snow during the winter are just a few things we enjoy with our family and friends. When we're not visiting Truckee, we enjoy our home in Santa Rosa with many family and friends and spend time in the wine country enjoying Sonoma County wines!
Why they chose this property
We have furnished and equipped our condo with everything we think you'll need to enjoy your time there. We wanted our place to be not just comfortable for us, but for our guests too! All mattresses, linens, blankets, comforters, throws, pillows, and towels are NEW and we continually replace those items as needed. Our cleaning service ensures that the condo will be sparkling clean and ready for your stay! Give us a try! Our reviews say you wonted be disappointed!
Please note that the winter months in the mountains is beautiful, but weather can change drastically without much notice. Please come to the mountains prepared! 4-wheel drive and or chains are strongly advised anytime you are traveling in the mountains.
Power outages is a common event in the mountains. The gas stove in the living room works to provide heating for the condo should the power go out. The kitchen gas stove and oven also works during a power outage, however, you'll need a lighter to start the burners. In addition, the gas water heater continues to work during a power outage, so you will have hot water. There is a Power Outage bag in the entry closest with flashlights, batteries and a lighter for your use. PLEASE DO NOT BURN CANDLES AS THIS IS A MAJOR FIRE HAZARD!
