This amazing two-bedroom beachfront home is exactly what your family has been hoping to find for your next vacation to sunny Maine. The cookware, counter space, and utensils in the full kitchen will make short work of tonight's family meal, and you can enjoy your creation outside on the balcony as an al-fresco meal while taking in breathtaking views of the Atlantic. Down the hall, a bathroom offers a shower/tub combo. Upstairs, you'll find the main bedroom with a queen-size bed and views of the water and another bedroom with a twin bunk, plus an extra twin. The bedrooms share a second bath with a shower/tub combo. You'll be just steps away from the beach, so be sure to take advantage of the provided beach towels during your stay.

Everything you expected from the photos

Location location location. Perfect spot, and not as busy as I expected during peak season and not to far north of the pier. We loved the property and will come back again for sure.

Nice clean condo right on the beach

Only complaint is that the garage for parking is too small to fit an SUV so we had to find/pay for street parking

Nice condo with excellent view and beach access

We really enjoyed the location and beach access. Being a 2 minute walk from the beach made it easy to head back and forth to the beach and let kids make the trip themselves. The included garage parking spot was also very nice. We wish the kitchen was better stocked with dishes and cooking amenities and felt mislead by the uncomfortable broken down porch couch. Still, overall we had a very good time and enjoyed our stay.

It was very clean and furnished well Great view of the beach and the water. Condo on third floor walk up with 2 bedrooms and one bath on the 4rth floor also with full bath on the main living area which was helpful.Parking very limited with a space in ground area garage for two small cars one behind the other. Does not work if one is SUV or a truck. Otherwise parking on Grand Avenue

Only the view is worth the price.

The view is great. The stairs are narrow - don't bring big bags! Be sure to ask if they have replaced the molding curtains in the living room and fixed the sliding doors. Don't expect it to hold six, there are only beds for five! Two of us had to go to a hotel!!

Ideal Beach Getaway!

This was the perfect spot for our annual Girls Weekend! Close enough to all the action, but far enough that we had the peace and quiet of the ocean! Just steps to the beach, which was ideal! The place itself was clean and had everything we needed. The porch overlooking the ocean is where we spent most of our time! We will be going back for sure!

The view is the best part

Lots of deferred maintenance. Mold on living room curtains. Not a lot of glassware or coffee cups. Screen door and windows don't function well. Can't give this place high marks. It is overpriced for the size and maintenance issues. Don't plan on crowding six people in here either. There are only beds for five. It was so tight we let the kids stay here and we went to a hotel.....

Overall great experience.

We loved the view and proximity to the beach. Lack of A/C was a concern but fans were provided so we were very comfortable at night. The ocean breeze helped as well. Had some trouble pulling in/out of the garage with our pick up truck. My wife had to climb up and hold the door higher for us the clear the entrance. Other than that, we loved how roomy the place was and how friendly the other guests were. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Location is great! view is great. Took one star away, because no TV.

There is a TV in the living room and bedroom, but no cable and they cant be hooked up to the internet. We had a couple of rainy days, and a TV would have been nice.

The ocean view was amazing. Place was on the dirty side. Mold on curtains. Carpet stained. Sheets stained. Light bulbs out. Also if you have a bigger vehicle, you won't fit in the garage and no one called back on where to park. Worried our vehicle might get tired while there

Beach front memories for sure.

We had a lovely sisters’ reunion by the ocean. Accommodations were well appointed and very convenient to the beach. Our only complaint is that we rented a condo for three days and two nights, but by the time we were able to check in (one hour before the 4 o’clock check-in) and check out by 10 AM, our three days ended up being about 42 hours! Suddenly the value of the rental was over the top. We probably would not be back again at their prices. Perhaps short term guests could be afforded earlier check-in and later check out times. Otherwise, Orchard Beach was a great place to visit.

Avoid Vacasa.

I wish I would have paid attention to who managed this property. If I would have noticed it was Vacasa, I would have looked for something else. We have dealt with them before and ALWAYS have problems. Besides that (which is a big problem), the only other issue is the stairs. You have to haul all your luggage, groceries, etc. up many outside stairs. The view was great though and the master bed was comfortable. It's also in a very good location.

Views were great, and the location is walking distance to the pier. The unit needs some TLC and the WIFI was rough. The parking is extremely tight (unit #5), and if you have a pickup truck or large SUV, it makes it even more difficult since it is the last spot next to the stairs, and if the parking lot is full you will have a tough time pulling in/out. I couldn’t fit in the garage and was told by management I would need to use public parking. Not an option for us. Overall, OOB was great, but I would stay elsewhere next time.

Pay attention to the other reviews......

I rated this property a 4 and not lower because of its location. It is front-facing to the ocean, and that is always a gem in my book. Sleeping to the sound of the waves is amazing. The property management (Vacasa) was flawless in their communication and the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning what they were responsible for cleaning. BUT....... this unit is in dire need of some deep cleaning and at a minimum some TLC in painting and in fixing what doesn't work (i.e., windows, toilet tank leaks), etc. Ideally, it needs to be renovated. However, if you and your family are having fun and moving fast enough that you don't care about carpet stains, grimy blinds, and such, then the beach location may outweigh the drawbacks. Can I repeat, the beach location is fantastic?

Beautiful views

Wonderful hearing the waves and viewing the ocean from the balcony and main bedroom. Easily walkable to the beach and to shops and restaurants. Having a garage to park the car was nice. The property was run down and in need of some deep cleaning and refreshing. It felt dirty and dated. Did not want to sit on the outside sofa because it was so dirty. The redeeming quality was that the kitchen was renovated and fully stocked. If you have Verizon cell service I advise you not to stay here. There is no cell service in this area and the wifi in the property does not work well and not at all at times. There is no AC, which would not have been a problem but the windows were broken and would not open. A representative from Vacasa did come to see if he could fix the wifi and the windows but he was unsuccessful.
