We had a great stay here. The cabin was clean when we arrived. It is well supplied with whatever necessities we might have needed. The hot tub is great, and the property backs on to a part of the national forest. We were also close to hiking trails which was why we were there. We have stayed at this cabin before many times, and we hope we can come back again.
The home was exactly as described. This rental is actually used by the owners so it had all the necessities you need to cook at home and spend time in the house with family. There are board games, a good tv, beautiful outside area to walk around. The beds have a topper on them and they are so comfortable!
Nice home with a wood stove. (We love a good wood stove with plenty of wood.) Beds were good except a few of the beds in the kids room were soft. Roomy kitchen, nice deck and a couple of minutes to Meyers. We enjoyed it and would book it again
Great rustic Lake Tahoe cabin! The beds were comfortable, the cabin is well stocked and the location is perfect! (And the hot tub was a special treat!) Great communication and clear instructions as well.
We had such a lovely time the minute we walked into the place it felt comfortable and just like home . The hot tub was a bonus. And we even got visited by a bear. I hope we can rent this property in the future thank you very very much.
We just made our second trip out here and enjoyed it very much, once again. I particularly love the little extras like use of garage, hot tub overlooking beautiful forest, snowshoeing out in the forest.
Chuck's Tahoe Apache Cabin is perfect for just about any party of visitors to fabulous Lake Tahoe. Quiet residential neighborhood, easy access from Highway 50, close to skiing, hiking, biking, beaches -- and much, much more. Cabin is fully outfitted to meet every need.

I really appreciate it when visitors have enjoyed their visit. I have lived in, visited and enjoyed the property and its environs for over 40 years. — Chuck
Hi! My name is Lisa Eisenberg and I've grown up spending time in Tahoe and visiting this cabin as a kid, with my dad, and now with my husband and 7-year-old. My dad, Chuck, bought this cabin in the 1970s and it's been a cherished family getaway since. My dad spent 30 years as a volunteer for the National Ski Patrol and we've skied virtually every downhill resort and explored most of the backcountry terrain in the area. Tell me what you want to do during your visit to Lake Tahoe and let me "be your guide". I work in the health care and education fields. I live in Berkeley and my dad lives in Davis.
Why they chose this property
My dad originally purchased this property when he was living in Lake Tahoe in the late 70's and have maintained it as a second home and a rental property since 1982. The cabin is ideally located in a quiet subdivision with great winter and summer access. It's near both Heavenly Valley and Sierra-At-Tahoe Ski areas and close to the lake, but not "too" close so you can escape the summer crowds. There's easy access to shopping and a myriad of outdoor activities.
What makes this property unique
Unlimited year-round activities in the beautiful Lake Tahoe basin. The cabin is outfitted with everything you need to enjoy an amazing time at Lake Tahoe -- all within easy reach. This place is well loved and comes with a lot of character. We welcome you to join our family tradition!
