BEST LOCATION IN DOWNTOWN ST. JOE!
This beautiful historic house is only a short block from State St. restaurants, wineries, and boutiques. Just one block to the bluffs that will take you down the steps to Silver Beach. You can see downtown St. Joe and the bluffs from the front porch of the house!

Located on State St. in the Historic District, the "McNeil House" was originally built in 1855. While it still holds its historic charm, it resonates the coastal beach life!
We all love our pets and hate to leave them behind, so we welcome up to two well-groomed pets as long as guests agree to follow our pet rules. As a courtesy to future guests that may have severe allergies to pets, we DO NOT allow pets on the furniture or bedding, and guests must clean up any additional shedding. Pet's must be crated when left alone. Guests must pick up after them outside. We charge $175 Per pet. Please let us know if you'll be bringing a pet.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please start a load of towels in the front load washer located in the basement. Make sure grill is clean & covered Check for leftover belongings
Cleaners will arrive at 11am and will do an inspection before cleaning. Please report anything that was accidentally damaged during your stay so we can make arrangements to make the necessary repairs
Turn thermostat to 75 degrees during the summer and 65 in the winter
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No Special events or parties allowed. No fireworks. Guests are expected to respect the house and property and leave it clean as they found it.
2 pets are allowed @ $125 per pet. Pets are not allowed on the furniture/bedding and must be crated when left alone. Pickup after them outside.
Brush sand off of your body and shake it out of your towels before entering the house. Rinse dishes before putting them in the dishwasher.

There was plenty of space, the kitchen was well stocked and having laundry available was a big plus. Excellent location. The house was decorated for Christmas which was really nice. Very nice accommodation.

Location couldn’t be better - 5 minute walk to the beach, 2 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Plenty of beds for our party of 11. Nice stay!

Girls Weekend

The house was absolutely perfect for a girls weekend. Lots of bedrooms and plenty of room to hang out. We couldn't have asked for a better location, we were close to shops and restaurants .. didn't need to use the car all weekend! Highly recommend!!

Love the location!!

We loved the accessibility to downtown, the restaurants, the shops (Kilwins and Full of Crepe were favorites) And also to the beach. We could walk everywhere and enjoy everything thing St Joe offers. We were a large family group with a lot of different ages, from an infant to retirees. Everyone enjoyed the house. Very clean with enough room for our group of 14. We will be back!

Inside clean. Outside needs updating. No place for kids to play outside. Plenty of beds, linen and towels and other amenities for our family. Hostess very helpful when we had questions with immediate response. Great to stay for fun days at the beach 3 blocks from Silver Beach on Lake Michigan.

Great location!!! Short walk to downtown and the silver beach pizza restaurant!!!A little further walk to silver beach and or the piers!!! Great restaurants and bars within walking distance. We parked our car Thursday night and didn’t need to use our car until we left on Sunday. We would definitely stay here again!

Very functional and met all basic needs but not warm. Offering shower wash but not shampoo or conditioner seemed chintzy. Having few basics in kitchen, including coffee and sugar, was disappointing. The polyester sheets were too warm and 4 of our 5 guests said it affected their sleep.

Great place in St Joseph MI for a family gathering.

My siblings and our families had a great holiday weekend here. The house was big enough to give everyone their own sleeping space, and the living area was great for gathering as a family. Location close to downtown and silver beach was a plus- we could walk everywhere we needed to go.

A large group of friends stayed here based on the number of rooms, beds, and short distance to the cute downtown area and the lake. We all enjoyed our stay. This house has a lot of charm and is on the older side, but being over 160 years old you have to expect settling in the house. I would stay here again!
