Quaint, clean and comfortable. Ideal location.
BR 1 (1st floor): Queen bed
BR 2 (2nd floor): Queen bed
BR 3 (2nd floor): Queen bed, plus two twin beds
Full bath and 1/2 bath are BOTH on the first floor.
Updated kitchen with gas range, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. The kitchen is equipped with good cookware, silverware, dishes, glasses, a combination K-cup/drip coffee maker.
Private backyard, only partially fenced.
Washer and dryer in basement. (The basement is accessible from the outside of the house only.)
65" smart tv. Xfinity cable channels and
fast Xfinity internet/wifi.
Train tracks are located at the end of the backyard, but lots of trees mask it. (Children especially love the trains!)
Beach wagon and chairs are available for your use.
This is a popular rental, and is typically booked 100% in the summer. I take pride in keeping it fresh and clean.
Very convenient location. Easy walk to Silver Beach, The Whirlpool Splash Pad, Curios Kids Museum, and downtown SJ.
This is an older cottage but it's kept up and is very clean and comfortable. I'm fortunate to have repeat guests every year and I truly strive to make everybody feel welcome. Please read the reviews for more of the story, and feel free to contact me with questions. Thank you for visiting my page!

This property was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It was located near the beach within easy walking distance. We would stay here again. I wish it had a firepit in the backyard, and we didnt realize it had a beach wagon and chairs for us to use. We had a great time!

The property was perfect for our family! We have 5 adult children plus 2 of their significant others and a 17 month old grandson. The backyard was always shaded which was so nice for how hot it was outside. There were plenty of bath towels, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, garbage bags, spices, sugar, coffee, mustard, ketchup, etc. It really is a 5 minute walk to the beach and not much traffic. The owner was extremely responsive to all of my questions. Shops, restaurants and bars were a 10 min. walk. We would stay there again.

Ideal Family Beach Getaway

Clean and cozy, home design allows for lots of room to spread out for 3 adults and 5 kids. Well supplied, very nice kitchen. Appreciated the thoughtful touch of a basket of books for kids and little kid size table. Quiet and peaceful at night. Loved proximity to beach and town, was always cool and refreshing inside! Great outdoor space on the front and back porches with sufficient seating. Convenient parking.

Steps away from the beach and downtown!

Lovely location to enjoy St Joseph, steps away from Silver Beach and from downtown area. Beds comfortable and accommodation clean. Only issue could be that AC didn’t reach the upstairs, but it worked for our group. Definitely staying here again!

This Lake Michigan Cottage is a wonderful beach rental. It's in a great spot-- A quick walk to the beach, town, and all the St Joseph attractions. Catch the Amtrak to Chicago for the day, if you want. Three queens and two twin beds offer a great combination of bedding to fit your group. This is an old cottage but it's very clean, comfortable, and easy to relax in. It feels like a home and not a sterile hotel. The backyard has a nice private feel to it.

What makes this property unique

Location. Location. Location. The house is below the bluff which means your toes will hit beach sand in mere minutes. It's great at the start of the day when you can stake out your perfect spot on the beach, AND when you're tired and ready to call it a day. Nobody likes to trudge back home at the end of a long day! Forgot the sunscreen on the kitchen table? No big deal, go back to the house, grab it, and come right back. Use the wagon to haul your chairs and belongings to the beach! Past guests agree -- you'll really appreciate this home's great location.
