Fall Break

We stayed here for Fall Break to visit with our daughter at ONU. Very convenient location and wonderful hostess to work with! We enjoyed being able to have her with us for the weekend at our “home” away from home.

It was a nice location and the apartment is plenty big enough. It could use a good cleaning and some of the soiled linens should be replaced.

I understand. We generally spend at least 1 day per month per property doing deep cleaning. This month we were unable to perform that due to nearly 100% occupancy. August slows a bit so it is on our radar. Thank you for your feedback. Always welcome and helps us improve.

3 week stay for work

The apartment was nicely furnished! The neighborhood was quiet. Stayed in the spring. Wasn’t at the apartment much other than to sleep. Enjoyed some local eats within a couple of miles.

Quick trip through town.

Very nice property and good value. The beds were comfy and had great pillows! It was clean but had a few ants running around. I was surprised the vertical blinds in kitchen had missing slats and weren’t functional. I would have liked to open them in the morning. But, we would rent again. Owners are very responsive.

Third visit with this property owner

We traveled from florida for a famliy member's 101st birthday, and this is the third year in a row we have stayed with this host. The accomodations are great for our group. This year we were able to get two units in the same building (quadplex) and my parents stayed in the other unit. It is nice to have a small house while visiting family, and the split bedroom layout helps it not feel like you are all crowded together. This stay we did have a couple of minor issues which the owner responded to the same day. We will continue to book these properties when coming to visit family in this area.

Perfect location for visiting an ONU student!

Perfect location if you have a student to visit at Olivet Nazarene University. It is only a few miles away from campus; around 6 min! This was an ideal spot to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday. The rental had all that we needed and plenty of room for us to spread out and enjoy each others company- we were even able to watch a movie on the smart tv (I was able to log into my Prime account). Way better than hanging out in a hotel room. The beds/pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was clean- these are two biggies for me when I stay away from home! I give an "A+" for the communication with the host/co-host -- they were both quick to respond to the questions I had. I will remember this rental for future visits to see my daughter.

Too disgusting to stay

-under the toilet seat was disgusting - not with urine but looked like explosive diarrhea -toilet paper in the toilet upon our arrival -strong smell of mold/mildew throughout house, instantly gave us all headaches -one of the closest doors is not even on the track, it was just leaning in the closet -top edges of the ceiling have spider webs all around them -one of the comforters has stains on it, one looked like a blood stain -some of the patio door blinds slats are missing -the couches are beat up and the loveseat creaks when you sit -The front blinds have broken slates creating huge open holes I have pictures to prove it ALL and sent them to Vrbo. If I could submit them here, I would. Owners did try to reach out to address my concerns after I contacted Vrbo, however, I was thoroughly disgusted, tired and frustrated and just needed to get my family into clean lodging and did not return the call. We checked in late at 11pm and even if they were able to get a cleaning crew out that late - it would still smell and we wouldn’t get to sleep well after midnight. In all prior communication with owners before check-in were extremely pleasant but either the owners do not check their property or they know of the condition of the property and do not care and still rent it. I guarantee that they would not have their family stay overnight in that property unless they were in dire need.

Obviously we were incredibly disappointed with your experience which is why i tried numerous attempts to move you to another property in the same complex and offer a full refund. However, all of my attempts to reach uou went unreturned. There is no greater frustration for a business owner who cannot satisfy a customer, especially when that customer does not allow the opportunity to make things right. Again so sorry for your experience.

Great while in town visiting family

I shared this apartment with 2 other adults and a teenager. It was perfect for the 4 people in our party and it was way more comfortable than staying in a hotel. Located in a quiet neighborhood, we didn't need to drive far to go anywhere around town. The beds/furniture were comfortable with good pillows, and it was equipped with most basic needs like paper products, cleaning supplies, and kitchen items. The next time we are planning a trip to the area this will be my forst search for accomodations.

We rented two units. We still did not have access info only four hours before check in. We began the search for ways to contact the owner and eventually were able to get the info but we should not have had to do this. We began worrying about fraud by the owner. This should have been provided well before that time. One of the units was advertised as two bath and only had one which was very disappointing. Overall it was OK.
