Set in a Tall Cool Woods with Mountain Views. Our woods are full of birds and small wildlife. They are protected in the many trees we have and natural understory of our woods.
We enjoy feeding the friendly grey squirrels and chipmunks. They all k now what a peanut is and will come to get one. Guaranteed to make you smile!
Moose Crossing Authentic Log Cabins are hand dove tailed logs with wood floors. Leather sofas and chairs. Old Hickory dining set to add rustic charm.
Mini split air conditioning and heat, very comfortable beds. Plenty of blankets and towels.
5 minutes to downtown Waynesville and 1/2 mile to the Blue Ridge parkway.
Great location for mountain fun located close to Blue Ridge Parkway,30 minutes to Great Smokies 30 minutes to Biltmore House.

Cabin was perfect for 2 adults and our dogs. It's located close to downtown Waynesville, the Blue Ridge Parkway and even Gatlinburg if your up for a little ride. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed.

October Getaway

This was the perfect place for my husband and me. The location was close to many places we wanted to visit. The cabin itself is just right for two and the host is very accomodating. We will be back!

Renting & communication with owner was easy, property & cabin was laid out beautiful, cabin was off the main road but not far at all which made for easy access, and cabin was well equipped to just show up and stay needing nothing. It was a great getaway!

We booked this last minute for a Thanksgiving getaway and didn’t have a ton of expectations, but the cabin pleasantly surprised us. Everything was very high quality and we had everything we needed to be comfortable for the weekend. The hosts didn’t take any shortcuts with the build or furnishings and it shows. Super great value for the price and convenient location. The blue ridge parkway is right there and will take you to all the best western NC has to offer.

Thanksgiving weekend getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin. This cabin was so clean. Such a great area. We really like staying at clean places when we vacation and this cabin exceeded my expectations. We felt like we were at home. This cabin is nestled up in such a cute little area. Close to nearby hiking, and so much more. Definitely will return! Janet was amazing.

Moose Crossing

The cabin at Moose Crossing was very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. It had everything we needed for our week's stay. The WIFI was strong which was important for working remotely a few hours each day. Property manager was easy to communicate with; she made sure we had what was needed and that we were settled in. Future guests might find it helpful to know that the cabin is on the outskirts of Waynesville and not secluded; the highway can be seen and heard from the property. This makes getting around very easy as it's conveniently located near the Blue Ridge Parkway and several nearby small towns including Waynesville, Bryson, and Sylva--all worth checking out!

Normally when we come to the mountains we stay high up in the mountains in the middle of nowhere this cabin was a little different for us as it was basically in populated area very nice cabin extremely nice owners enjoyed our stay very much I would recommend this cabin for a couple I think they do have a couple of larger cabins for more people overall We had a great this it
