We had a wonderful stay in Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle. The house was beautiful, comfortable, very well equipped, and ideally located to explore the Pays Basque. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation. One suggestion for improvement would be to install air conditioning, as the house could feel quite warm and humid, particularly during the summer months.Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this home to anyone looking to discover this beautiful part of the Basque Country.

On arrival we felt slight disappointment but on further inspection liked it. The kitchen, both inside and outside, were very well equipped, and the outside eating area was great. We used it for every meal. Lots of outside comfortable seating and big sunshades. The bedrooms were perfect for our requirements and the bathrooms had obviously been recently done and were all a good size. The pool was good and the fact it was heated was a real bonus. Then only downside was the garden area was unkempt but it didn’t spoil our stay. All in all, a good house for a family holiday.

The property was magnificent! We were a large group of three families with a lot of teenage children. The house was huge, with plenty of space for everyone. The outside cooking facilities were essential & perfect. The weather was very hot and cooking for 13 people would have been a bit of struggle given the size of the kitchen within the house. On the day we arrived the dishwasher wasn’t working. Within 24 hours a technician arrived, and within 48 hours a new dishwasher was installed. We were very impressed with how quickly our hosts responded to the minor issue. The pool was fantastic and a welcome reprise from the warm weather. The bedrooms on the top floor did get a little warm, but the room did have a portable air-conditioning unit.I would definitely recommend the property and stay again while visiting the area.
