This house is historically significant because it was built for Catherine Culp, daughter of Henry Culp, and was close enough for her to walk to her mother's home, situated on the famous Culp's Hill. There are genuine period antiques here, and every room is decorated faithfully in Victorian style and luxury.

About the host
Hosted by Carla Rayacich
Making houses beautiful is what I love to do! I find homes in need of renovation in places I truly enjoy, fix them up so I would love living in them, and offer them to vacationers. I spend months living in each property myself, so I make sure it feels good and everything works well. For me, there is no such thing as "just a rental." Everything is top-notch. I'm fifth generation from Hawaii, living most of the time in the San Francisco Bay Area when I'm not in one of the vacation homes. I'm a lifelong entrepreneur & philanthropist, married, and mother of nearly grown twins.
Why they chose this property
I discovered the beauty of Gettysburg when my son started at Gettysburg College. It's such an amazing historic town, different from anything I'd known before, and I fell in love with this town, its people, its history, and this adorable Victorian house. It's been a true labor of love to bring the Victorian Rose to its high level of beauty, safety, and comfort.
What makes this property unique
This house lets you experience history in the High Victorian era as you explore the rich history of Gettysburg. It will be easy to imagine yourself having high tea in 1892 with other civic leaders of this town. You will get to enjoy a unique luxury for your stay, in a house that will wrap your family and friends in comfort.
