Overall, we had a good experience and enjoyed our stay. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and everything worked as expected. That said, it would have been even better if a few basic essentials were provided. Having extra trash bags and a few additional everyday items available would have made things more convenient and elevated the overall experience. With just a bit more attention to those small details, this would easily be a five-star stay. Regardless, the owner was responsive to our needs and we had a great time.

Our family of 12 stayed for the week. The house was spectacular! The space suited our needs perfectly! Plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms. Nice dining area & well equipped kitchen.We enjoyed meals & time together on the nice big deck. We appreciated the Beach Club access. We rented boats & used the pool. We enjoyed lots of great local hikes & spent a day at Knoebels.Great house for a wonderful family vacation!!!

Excellent communication from our host! We would definitely consider staying again! A few minor hiccups with plumbing but host was willing to help. Beautiful scenery, loved the floor layout. Made our last days of summer very memorable! If I would recommend one small detail, I would say some type of mat for the bathroom floors. Hoping to stay again for the holidays.

Large 3 story home nestled in the woods that was clean, well laid out and easily accessible. We had 6 adults and 5 kids in our group and still had additional room to accommodate additional people.

Summer Family Getaway

Slopesview for a summer vacation with family was Perfect. There was plenty of room for all to feel comfortable between bedrooms and family space to be together to chat, play games and watch the Olympics on the big TVs. I especially chose Slopesview because it included passes for Big Boulder Lake which has beach front, pools and boating. The lush greenery during the summer months is absolutely beautiful which makes for a relaxing stay. We also did some evening hiking to see the sunset. Hopefully we will all gather again for a summer vacation in the Poconos.

Wonderful Vacation Home

The house was perfect for us. There are three floors in the house and the bedrooms are spread out over the three floors. We were able to sleep in family groups and be together yet had plenty of space to be apart when we wanted to. Great amenities - the game room was enjoyed by all as was the deck and the hot tub. The kitchen is large and spacious with plenty of cabinet and counter space. I highly recommend this house. You can't go wrong.

Good house

House great for 6 guys on a weekend. We didn't end up using any of the neighborhood facilities but they looked nice. Good location. Lake was drained so we couldn't use. Not technically owners fault but could have used a little more of a heads up. Also 10am checkout without possibility of even 30 minutes extension seemed extreme especially considering circumstances. Overall though very good stay.

Stingiest host I have ever encountered. No toilet paper, no paper towels, no bedding or bath towels, no dish soap, no sponge, no coffee! The host (a realtor) blamed me for not noticing the very fine print at the end of the very long listing description that says you don’t get any of these things. If your photos show fully made beds, that is misleading! They said I could rent sheets from their “concierge” which they qualified to say has no affiliation with them. No thank you.The kitchen was gross, half of the kitchen ware was covered in gunk and needed cleaned before using. Not surprising when the host does not provide any cleaning supplies - what are people going to do? Clean everything with hot water only. Clearly they do not bother to check after the last guest checks out whether everything is clean. Also there is not enough cookware to make a large family meal, so keep that in mind if you have a big group.Overall you can get WAY better value for your money somewhere else. Not worth the hassle of bringing your own stuff or “renting” it from a third party. They even have a washer and dryer on site. Not providing sheets / towels is pure greed.Pros: comfy king bed (extra star for this) and hot tub was ready to go and clean. TV in every room was nice.

It was a shame but this house could have a ton of potential

Property has a great location. House could be truly wonderful but the upkeep and cleanliness were terrible. The whole house was not cleaned PROPERLY to start. Food was found on the floor, a smoking pipe was found out on the outside deck by the table (left it there), there was dog poop on the outside of the slider door (left it there), air vents were just covered in dust/debris, bathrooms were the worst with mold & mildew on the tiles and glass doors. To me it seems like a property management issue but regardless the overall feel of the property was definitely not as described. Also, the games downstairs were not very inviting as the shuffle board was all ripped up, the pool table felt was very old.....again, not was represented on the listing. Anyway, we were only there 2 nights and made the best of it and honestly I did not want the hassle of dealing with everything above and ruining the little time we had. The house could be a wonderful place but the care and treatment of it has been neglected for a long time.

Thank you for staying! I wish you had reached out during your stay so we could discuss this and address it as we always want everyones experience to be super! I have notated your comments on the gameroom and we will definitely make changes, although the shuffleboard is in great working order. I did try to call after this review to understanding what cleaning issues were, but did not receive a message back. I personally checked the house and didn't find mildew or glass door cleaning issues. I did however find a racoon hanging out on the 3rd level deck( game commission has moved him out of the neighborhod), this is where the feces were noted. Those are definitely new as someone opens the house up on the day of checkin, and it was in fact racoon feces.
