Perfect Lakeside Getaway

This spectacular 4 bedroom lake house on Otisco Lake is just steps from 75 feet of private waterfront. Separated into 2 floors and endless outdoor space, this is the perfect lakefront getaway!

Located on the main floor is the fully equipped kitchen, living area with 55" television, enclosed porch with large dining table and sitting area, full bath, and one bedroom with two single beds. Air conditioning is provided in both the downstairs and upstairs.

There are three bedrooms located on the second floor. A larger bedroom with a king bed and television. The second bedroom has a double bed and a twin. And a third bedroom with a queen bed. There is also a half bathroom located on the second floor. All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans.

The main floor wrap around deck has amazing views overlooking the water. The deck is set with a table that seats 6 and an umbrella, 2 Adirondack chairs, and a gas grill.

Situated directly over the lake, the spacious, newly renovated lower deck is filled with plenty of seating areas and a large picnic table.

Stairs lead from the lower deck to the lower dock and 75 feet of private waterfront. This spot is perfect for swimming, fishing, sunbathing, and much more! A canoe is included with the rental. Boat rentals are available at the marina.

Located only 15 minutes from fine dining in the village of Skaneateles, 10 minutes to Beak and Skiff Apple Orchards and the 1911 Tasting Room, and 30 minutes to Downtown Syracuse.

Fantastic Lake Getaway

The house was very comfortable and the view/location were fabulous. The stress melts away when you walk into the sunroom and see nothing but lake. We loved our time on Otisco and hope to come back again soon.

A little piece of paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing trip to Otisco lake. The deck is perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks. It was the little things that were around the house that we appreciated most! Thoughtful hosts and a clean enjoyable stay!

We loved this house! I am still thinking about the stunning sunsets over the lake. The house was clean and comfortable. Our kids loved the dock and the grown ups loved the decks overlooking the water. Host was communicative and lovely. Thank you and we’ll definitely be back!

Amazing!

A girls weekend for Mother's Day! What a perfect place! Great view, so clean, had all we needed, decorated so cute! Less than 15 minutes to Skaneateles to shop and eat! Owners are great and so accommodating! This place is spacious and has such a homey feel! Can't say enough about it!

Unbelievable view

Although I lived in New York state for a while, I never visited the finger lakes. Don't let the "diminutive" size of Otisco Lake fool you: this home, lake, and view are amazing. It was extremely peaceful. Great for fishing from the dock, reading from the deck, or taking the canoe onto the lake. I highly recommend this spot for families or for an adult getaway.

Otisco Lake

Great accommodations! Beautiful lake and setting. Parking for 2 full size crew cab trucks (one was left in gravel parking lot but no issues) was tricky. We utilized the public boat launch on the southwest side of the lake and “parked” the bass boat at the dock at the rental. So everything worked out just fine. Unfortunately, we were fishing for walleye, but no luck there. Overall, great experience!

Kayaking in the Finger Lakes

This house was the perfect location to kayak many of the gorgeous Finger Lakes. Even if you’re planning a relaxing trip, the back deck has an amazing view of the sunset over the lake, and there’s an enclosed porch if it rains. The house was beautiful and there was plenty of room.

Fabulous trip to finger lakes

Fabulous trip and extremely comfortable with the owners/host. We were very well taken care off. Can’t ask for more facilities. Mornings and sunsets by the lake side very amazing. Everything is pretty much not too far yet very serene. Neighbours were really helpful and very nice. Most of the places that qualify for visit in and around finger lakes are very close by. In case if you are planning for boat rental we need to plan it ahead. Both Mary and David took care of our needs before we had even any questions. We really liked the decor of the facility and can’t ask for more. Will definitely revisit with friends when ever possible.

Finger Lakes Gem

Beautiful lakefront home with multiple outdoor patios to enjoy the picturesque setting. Bedding comfortable which made for a good night's sleep. Be sure to bring your own basic kitchen items (oil, spices, seasonings, sugar) if you plan to prepare even simple meals. The Kuerig Coffee Maker is ideal for a quick cup, a regular coffee maker would be helpful when home rented by more than a couple.

Wonderful finger lakes vacation

Inviting and relaxing from the moment we walked in!

This property was honestly the nicest place our family has ever stayed (we have stayed in a bunch over the years). Every detail of the house was so thoughtful, clean, and inviting. We had 8 of us and the house was the perfect combo of congregating plus anyone could go off on their own to read somewhere. The lake was gorgeous- the water and view . Even on th 60 plus degree days we went in and was so glad!

Wonderful, relaxing getaway spot!

A few friends and I rented the house for a week in June. The house is adorable and fit the 5 of us (plus a could daytime visitors) quite comfortably!! It was very clean, and had many amenities for guests available (towels, sunscreen, flotation devices, canoe, board games, books, grill, etc.). We LOVED having the screened in porch to sit in on days with rainy weather, and all the space outside on the decks and dock to get some time in the sun. The water was clear, and even though there was seaweed surrounding the dock, we were able to get in and putter around, and do some fishing! The house is also only about a 15-minute drive from Skaneateles, which is an adorable lakeside town. We also met a neighbor, who was so nice and showed us a great walking path away from the main road to get over toward a nearby park! It was a great time, and the owners were very kind and responsive, and have a binder with all the info you need once you check-in, suggestions for places to go while you’re in town, and a very easy system for checking out. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips to the area, and I highly recommend staying here!

Excellent rental with attention to detail

This was one of the best rental properties we’ve ever stayed at (and we stay at a lot). The attention to details did not go overlooked- extension cords in the bedrooms for chargers, k-cups for coffee maker, sunscreen and beach towels, garbage baskets in every room, etc. Not to mention it’s a beautifully redone property with an amazing outdoor space for enjoying otisco lake. Thanks so much for letting us enjoy your rental home!
