A gorgeous home near downtown Napa

The custom kitchen is equipped with top-of the line appliances, quartzite countertops, and plenty of space to create enjoyable meals with loved ones. The dining table seats four and the kitchen counter is extended with two adjustable chairs for a quick bite or working from home. Nearby is a dedicated office that has the following: printer, small sofa, desk & office chair, Led desk lamp, and a paper shredder.

Waking up in the morning is a delight, because you can hear the birds chipping in the distance, the fresh air is invigorating, and the view of the park-like setting from the living room make the space feel private and secluded, although restaurants and stores are only one mile away.

The kitchen really serves as a multi-purpose room, because you can eat, sleep, work and enjoy living at the extended counter top. The refrigerator is big and allows for an ample storage of food. The kitchen sink is big and fabulous when preparing food and drinks. The colors of the kitchen are soothing to the eye, so you really can stay here all day and night; however, the leaving the house is a good thing.....

Great place near downtown

Highly recommend staying here. Location is great. It is close to everything you could want and need in Napa…..restaurants, Oxbow Market, the local Farmers Market, shopping, and more. Home is updated, clean, and well equipped with all the amenities. Barbara, the homeowner is very responsive and an absolute delight. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Barbara for everything.

Comfortable, clean & cute

We have stayed in many VRBO properties. We stayed for three months at this home in Napa, and enjoyed every minute. The home is very clean which is something I am very picky about. The homeowner was incredibly responsive and easy to work with when we had questions. The kitchen is well stocked, and has been updated which was nice. We would definitely rent this property again.

Comfortable and practical with a great host

My wife, son, golden retriever and mixed terrier spent a month here. The house is very comfortable and practical. The upgraded kitchen is great. The internet works very well for working from home and streaming TV. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. We walked to Downtown Napa several times. It's about 25 mins to the Oxbow Market and another 5 to downtown restaurants. The house is very dog friendly. The backyard is big and fully enclosed. We enjoyed many dog walking routes from the house. Our favorite was going to Lakeview Park. It's a "natural style" park in a beautiful, low density setting. Take El Monte Way to get there. It's a steep street and the road "dead ends" for cars but you can walk to Oak Grove Way and then the park. It's a beautiful walk. Barbara, the host, is excellent. Perfect combination of checking in to make sure everyone is comfortable without being intrusive. Would highly recommend her house.

Amazing home close to downtown Napa!

My Fiance and I really enjoyed staying at this home. It was comfy and cozy with a great front and backyard. We walked right to Downtown Napa (15 min walk) as often as we could when we weren't working. There are also some beautiful parks close by which were fun to explore. This neighborhood is super safe and the weather couldn't have been better. We will be back again soon! Thank you Barbara for such an incredible stay!

I enjoy the outdoors immensely and ride my horse frequently and take the dog to the beach regularly. Fixing up this house was like being an artist with a blank canvas that I was able to transform into a stunning home. Of course there is always more to do, but over time there will be more tweaking the property than before.

Why they chose this property

I have a duplex close by and noticed the need to accommodate more people, so I took the plunge and bought this home and molded it to what I thought people would like. It started out as a fun and creative project to fix up.

What makes this property unique

The battery back up is an excellent option during a power outage. I know how people love to have the internet on and the refrigerator working.

I found this place to be quiet, cozy, and warm. Time really flies when you are surrounded by beauty and creature comforts.

You can drive five minutes to the downtown area and find the best food, wine, beer, and shopping nearby.

The neighbors are so nice and friendly. The area is a nice escape from city life.
