Your private sanctuary awaits at Abbott Brook Inn, an authentic 1800s farmhouse set on 125 acres of breathtaking, untouched Maine landscape. This second-floor suite offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort—your "little retreat" away from the world.
The Suite
Enjoy a bright, sun-drenched space featuring a comfortable bedroom with lovely views, an attached private bath, and a dedicated sitting room for lounging.
Modern Amenities- Your suite is equipped with an adjustable queen sized bed for added comfort, 43" Smart TV with basic cable in both the bedroom and the attached sitting room and central heat and air conditioning. An ensuite refrigerator, microwave, and in-room coffee means you can heat up leftovers and bring a simple breakfast.
The Grounds & Experience
We take a natural approach to farm life. You won't find manicured lawns here—instead, you’ll find the raw beauty of wide-open fields, starlit skies, and crisp country air.
Explore-Stroll down our country lane, find the hidden brook, or visit our resident Babydoll sheep. As a working farm, you may see the daily rhythms of nature and agriculture in action.
Relax-Soak your muscles in our small indoor heated pool with therapeutic jets.
Connect:-While your suite is private, feel free to enjoy any of the the common areas including a wide farmers porch, small fire pit (seasonal), a central living room and an additional kitchenette.
Location-Get the best of both worlds. While you’re tucked away in a peaceful rural setting, you are only minutes from local shopping and a short 20-minute drive to the stunning Maine coast and the beaches of Wells, Ogunquit and York. Looking to get in some more intensive shopping, the Kittery Outlet Malls are 30 minutes and Wells Antiques Shops 20 minutes. We are also fortunate to have dozens of excellent dining options nearby.
Please note: This is a second floor unit and does require going up stairs.
At this time, no meals are provided, but your suite’s kitchenette amenities make it easy to store and prep snacks or light meals.

Everything about our visit was wonderful! Clean, well organized room, welcoming host, and quiet rural setting made for a restful visit. The location is convenient to the Maine coast and the New Hampshire mountains. We will definitely stay again the next time we visit this area.

Lovely Inn

The Inn was absolutely lovely. The quintessential Maine location!!!!! Gorgeous in the fall!! Everything about our stay here was wonderful, from the farm feel to its location to surrounding attractions. The host were very accommodating and helpful and responded quickly. We would love to stay here again!!

Lucked out and found this wonderful place pretty last minute. Was exactly what I was hoping for, perfect 5 night stay! Secluded farm setting but still close to many of the places we love to visit. Friendly owner and overall a great place to stay. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your farm!

Great Getaway

Relaxing getaway

We all had a lovely, relaxing time here. From relaxing in our rooms, to relaxing in the large 80 degree heated pool room, and the large farm property with sheep, chickens, and a goat that loves animal crackers :) We loved the area and it wasn't too far away for getting supplies from town.

We were happy here

The Abbott Brook Inn has a lot of charm, both the farm and land and the inn itself. Our apartment was immaculate, tastefully decorated, comfortable bed and chairs, and very comfortable overall. The warm pool and its many windowed room have a bit magic that we relished on a rainy, cold spring afternoon. We didn't actually meet the owners but their notes were cordial and entry and exit were very easy.

Birthday Getaway

We had a great experience at this Vrbo! The Inn is absolutely beautiful, especially the pool area. The water could be a little warmer :) The check-in/out process was very easy, and there is a helpful welcome binder in the suite. The animals were adorable! Overall, would definitely recommend this location!

Wonderful weekend!!!

This hidden gem was perfect for us this weekend. We were the only couple staying, which was a surprise, but it was great because we had the house & indoor pool to ourselves. Everything was so clean and well taken care of. The property is beautiful and we had a good time with the Goat & sheep! Thank you!

Beautiful peaceful spot

Lovely peaceful spot. Only the sounds of nature heard through windows we kept open, the fresh air was great for sleeping. Love the “old school” feel of the decor, the sense of history to the wood furnishings and the soft feel of the cotton bedding were just what we prefer. Hosts very responsive yet respectful of our privacy. We will be back for sure!

Incredibly Peaceful Farmhouse Stay!

Our stay at Three Brothers Farm was fantastic. It was extremely quiet and tucked away, very peaceful and charming, and the suite was huge - with a bedroom and a living room/dining/office nook, and a Jack and Jill style bathroom between the two. We woke up to chickens and sheep in the mornings, nothing but crickets at night, no traffic sounds reach the property. The big hot tub was amazing and we had no trouble booking time in it. Short drive to various beaches and beautiful hikes, very hospitable and would highly recommend. We would love to return!

Quiet Honeymoon Getaway

My husband spent many Christmases by the sea in near by towns and we wanted to experiance the area with our fur baby, which is very hard to do now a days. Finding a beautiful peaceful inn close enough yet far away from loud partying and packed crowds and also allows pets was heaven sent! The home and property is absolutely breath taking. Natural and Organic ASMR of the country!! It had everything you need. If you love history you will find this property interesting! We had met and spoke with one of the owners and they were friendly and very kind. We hope to go back in the future for another stay!

Perfect setting for rest and relaxation

Excellent experience from beginning to end! Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to schedule and reschedule our stay twice and the hosts were very understanding and patient. Communication with the host before and during our stay was effortless and pleasant. The rental was extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. The pool was fantastic and a unique feature. Wells beach is a quick 15 minute drive from the farm so we drove to have lunch at The Maine Diner (best lobster rolls EVER) and spent a little time at the ocean. I cannot say enough good things about this rental. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Exceeded all expectations

This property touched every part of us that was precious to us. Many, acres of open spaces with not another house in sight, yet not far from "civilization". Our suite had everything we needed. We did not use the indoor pool in the common area, but it was beautiful! We imagined how fantastic it would be during a storm! Our hostess, Norma was unobtrusive, but extremely friendly when we bumped into her. We could have stayed there for weeks. Two words that best describe our stay: QUIET and BEAUTIFUL. We are already planning to bring our siblings from Illinois and Virginia to this wonderful place next year.

Weekend Home Away

The location was lovely and quiet, the rooms were clean and spacious and the indoor plunge pool was a lovely 82 degrees with a view of the sky and clouds. Our hosts were communicative and the check in process was seamless. A snow storm blew in the day we checked out, and the night before our hosts let us know we didn't have to rush out at check out time, and could wait for the storm to pass if we wanted to. While the indoor pool was lovely, and in theory can double as a hot tub, it did not appear to be configured for use as a hot tub. We may have just missed some instructions somewhere though. All in all a great place to get away for few days and good hosts.

Tucked away from the world yet very convenient to shopping, the coast, dining and more- the location is perfect. A private and peaceful property with stunning sunrises and moonrises, a charming brook, woods, fields and always a beautiful view to be had.

What makes this property unique

Charming Inn set on a 125 acre farm. Convenient to most locations in Southern Maine and NH. Located near the center of North Berwick, with stores and restaurants within a 5 minute drive. There are 4 guest rooms available each with frig/micro/coffee and the first floor a common area of room and breakfast nook (frig, micro, toaster oven) may be shared with other guests. There is a heated indoor pool for private use. Contact us for special rates on more than one room.
Excellent location to be away from tourist areas but close enough to visit them. Beaches 20-30 minutes, RT 95-15 mins, Portland Portsmouth-45 mins, Kittery Outlets -30 mins. Mountains and skiing, 1 hour 30 mins. Suite includes a comfortable bedroom, bath and views of the farmland from every window. See great sunrises, wildlife sightings and an amazing moon if you happen to be here on a clear moonlit night. First floor liiving room has 50" smart tv, and gas fireplace as well as a breakfast nook. This serene setting offers privacy, beauty and plenty of places for walking and visiting the farm animals -A great location in a relaxing setting!
