BEFORE YOU BOOK PLEASE READ
From November 1- April 15 please be aware that the Utah Department of Transportation and Town of Brighton rules about canyon travel require snow tires (3PMSF) or chains to make it safely up the canyon and to the home. Snow plowing is provided by local vendor and is intermittent. Cottonwood Lodging does not have control over snow plowing. DO NOT TAKE UBERS OR LYFTS TO THIS PROPERTY. Please plan to check in by 8pm to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming and note that this home can accommodate ONLY 2 vehicles in winter.

Stellar Haven is managed by locally owned and operated property manager Cottonwood Lodging Company where the guest experience is most important. Please reach out for information about the area and other services offered by Cottonwood Lodging.

Named after the many beautiful stellar jays that visit, Stellar Haven is a private mountain home at Brighton Resort just a 1-2 minute walk away from the closest lift (Milly Express). With 3 bedrooms, a loft with 2 Queen futons, and 2 full bathrooms, you can easily be first on the slopes with your family and friends! 

This open home receives plenty of natural light due to the large, 2-story windows in the living room, where you can enjoy the custom-built gas fireplace while relaxing in front of the smart TV. The nearby kitchen is stocked with many tools for cooking and dining, a gas range, a full-sized fridge/freezer, and a breakfast bar. Upstairs, the spacious loft houses a sectional couch and another smart TV. We recently replaced the internet with Verizon high-speed internet, so streaming or working on vacation is absolutely doable. 2 Queen futons are located on the opposite side of the loft. We have a newly remodeled combination shower and tub upstairs and a hot tub outside on the wraparound deck. You'll be able to relax and enjoy the wildlife any time of year from the large deck!

- King Bedroom - Spacious King bed with cozy linens and comforters.

- Full Bathroom - Standing shower with double showerheads.

- Kitchen - Stocked with appliances and cookware to make your meal prep a breeze! 4 seats at the breakfast bar make it easy to keep the chef in your party company.

- Dining Area - Dining table seats 8

- Living Room - Open living room with high ceilings. Roku-enabled TV and gas fireplace, access to back and side decks (hot tub access on back deck).

UPPER LEVEL:
- Loft - Open loft with 2 queen futons toward the back, and a lounge area with couch and Roku streaming TV toward the stairs.

- Queen Bedroom - Queen bed with cozy bedding in mid-sized bedroom.

- King Bedroom - Large bedroom with high ceilings, King-sized bed, comfy linens!

- Full Bathroom - Double sinks and a large custom jetted combo tub/shower, high ceilings!

Important Notes: No parties or events are permitted at any time. Security cameras are located on the front and back of the home pointing toward the driveway/road for safety purposes and may be used to ensure our rental policies are being followed.

Stellar Haven - Great Stay

Nice place, well equipped, very convenient location for skiing. A great stay for our family. Perhaps the hot water supply was not really adequate but other than that it was great.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home is nice with a comfortable layout. We loved the wall of windows in the family room - the winter views are beautiful. Proximity to the slopes was amazing. We also got good use of the hot tub. The only downside was some outdated/old things in the kitchen. Mattresses and bedding was not amazing but fine. The overall vibe was cozy and comfortable and we would certainly stay here again!

Great Location

The property is close to ski lifts and other winter activities. The floor plan is well laid out and houses a reasonable number of people without being on top of each other. The kitchen is a nice size for cooking. We enjoyed our stay.

Brighton family gathering

The cabin is lovely. Spacious and full of light. The back deck is very peaceful, and we had several deer wandering through and squirrels chasing each other about. We had a perfect stay and will return.

Great location and great home with everything you need, the only thing I'd recommend is to put some bird stickers on those big windows, we had several birds hit the windows and die during our short stay, so simple stickers would help those little birdies

Always a Perfect Stay

We returned this summer for what has become a family tradition. We’ve always enjoyed every minute in Brighton, and Stellar Haven makes it special. Every amenity you could need is available. Stellar Haven is Stellar!

A really lovely, luxurious place for a large family gathering/wedding. Brighton is a beautiful low-key resort totally devoid of mega lodges and all the trapping of a high-priced busy resort. Loved being able to walk to all the wedding events: Hikes, picnics, ceremony, brunch. The cabin was very well stocked with towels, kitchen items, hottub towels, guide books. Very clean and well kept up cabin. The check in time is at 4pm and checkout is at 10am only wish we could have checked in sooner and checked out later without an extra charge.

The great room windows look out on a scenic view of pines and mountain peaks. The picturesque panorama took our breath away every morning, and we spent enjoyable hours lounging and just taking in the natural beauty before us. We took hikes to the lakes, spotted deer and chipmunks, took a hundred photos, and cooked our own dinner in the well-provisioned kitchen. This property made for a perfect summer vacation.

This is one of the best stocked vacation rentals I have stayed at - plenty of garbage bags, paper products, spices, pots/pans (plus humidifiers in the rooms to alleviate the dryness of ski season). The management company responded to questions very quickly and addressed concerns equally as fast (there was so much snow in the driveway a second plowing was needed). The place was perfect for our group of 6 (4 adults, 2 teens). The hot tub worked great with beautiful views of the Wasatch.
