Great location for riding out and around Wheeler. Nice view of the Rio Grande from the deck. Needs a kettle and the water comes and goes, but overall a great value and place to stay.
Check-in/check-out was a breeze. The condo is in a great location on the Rio Grande River, was very clean and had everything we needed. Beau was very responsive.
This was a very comfortable and relaxing location. The kitchen had all of the pans and utensils we needed. I also loved being able to sit on the deck and enjoy the scenery and hear the river. This is a great location for branching out for scenic drives to Lake City via the Silver Thread Scenic Byway and the Great Sand Dunes National park. If we are ever back in the area, we would love to stay here again. We had a very relaxing time here
We had a beautiful view of the river, and the accommodations were nice. We didn’t notice it was on the 2nd floor until after we booked, but the stairs weren’t too steep. Surprisingly, we didn’t miss not having a/c in July. It was very cool with the windows open.
We had a great stay at this spot. The Rio Grande as our backyard was the absolute best way to spend a long weekend. We ate breakfast outside every morning and took in the scenery and sun. The property is well maintained and centrally located. We visited Pagosa Springs and The Sand Dunes. The property management is very quick to respond. This is a great spot for families!
We really enojoyed our stay at Beau's property. The space was warm and clean when we arrived for a birthday weekend and skiing. The river view was beautiful, great sights of wildlife, and cozy. Perfect for a couple or small family. Excited to return for more adventures.
I had a girl's weekend with my daughter and my niece and my friend's daughter. It was a good weekend. We didn't know it was gonna snow, but it was still beautiful and we still enjoyed everything the views were beautiful. The house was perfect. Cozy, and had everything we needed.
This place was perfect. The view from the balcony will forever be a core memory. Like all places it has it's quirks, but nothing that took away from the experience of our trip only added to it. Thank you for this place!
This is a roomie two bedroom apartment with all the appliances, fridge stove, microwave coffee pot washer dryer shower. AND The balcony overlooks the Rio Grande river.
This place is super comfy, affordable and the best view from every window. The property manager is extremely helpful and an absolute darling. Thank you so much for a little bit of peace as I trek across the country.
On the water, in a four plex with some other buildings that have permanent residents which makes it a little awkward when trying to figure out which condo you're in. Other than that it was a good enough place to use as a landing spot.
These are minor details mentioned just in hopes of making the place better. - Heater worked well, however, windows were quite bad, our friend who stayed with us was very cold in the smaller room because the bed was up against the window. She had to use all blankets in the house(which were not very many for the winter season in South fork, it got down to -14 one morning so that was rough for her). The master was very warm - maybe a circulation issue.- Everything was very clean! We suggest getting a extender to clean the fans - they were quite dirty. -We have stayed at various cabins in the area, this one had a lot of utensils and cooking items which was AWESOME. It even had a stainless steel pot. We dislike non-stick and brought our own stainless pot and cooking pot because the non-sticks are the usual option in cabins.- The TV allowed us to stream but for some reason when we connected it went to someone else in the apartment complex and played(we could hear it too). Not sure what the deal is.-Two fridges was cool - we bring alot of food! The one closest to the door was not very cold so we used it as a beverage fridge :) But our overall experience was fabulous! This is a perfect place for a week trip. Seriously going to consider for our other trips!
