Sleeps 10!!!!
If you have kids, they will love playing in the park whether it's swings and basketball in the summer or the sledding hill and ice skating rink in the winter, all are right outside your back door!! The river is also just a short walk to the end of the block!
You'll wish you would've booked longer in this mountain modern cabin with 3 master suites!! This newly remodeled 3BR 3BA cabin will comfortably sleep 10 guests and is super kid friendly. You will love the additional outdoor dining space on the covered back porch. Complete with a dining table and chairs for enjoying your meals in the fresh mountain air and comfortable, padded rocking chairs to enjoy watching kids play in the park. Enjoy your morning coffee, or evening beverages by the fire pit or on the cozy porch complete with ambient lighting.
Each bedroom is complete with it's own attached bathroom as well as an electric fireplace for additional heat, or just mountain ambiance. This cabin is perfect for 3 couples, each having their own bathroom, 2 or 3 small families, or a group of friends just wanting to get away to the mountains.
Enjoy all the new, modern updates in this true log cabin in the mountains! From new floors to light fixtures. And new bathrooms to a whole new large kitchen with stainless steel appliances. New bedding, towels and pillows too!
Your kids will thank you for staying so close to the park, sledding hill, ice skating rink and all new basketball court! Ice skates are even provided free of charge and located in the warming hut by the ice rink. Even more convenient, is the Malt Shop across the street, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The burgers are huge, fries are amazing, and the pizza is to die for, but be sure to grab one of their famous shakes or avalanches while you are there!
We hope you will choose to stay at Park Haven during your stay in beautiful South Fork, Colorado. Ownership changed in May of 2024 and we have had to create a new listing on all of the channels. Previous owners are still in town and helping us manage the property as we are committed to continuing the excellent ratings they built over the last 2 years!
2 dogs allowed per reservation (50 lb weight limit) with a non refundable $100 pet fee per dog. They must be crated if left alone during the day and are not allowed on any of the furniture.

Hi there! We are Josh and Becky Spence. Our family discovered South Fork in the summer of 2020 when everyone else in the US was also camping (thanks COVID!). At the time, we felt it was somewhat of an accident, or lack of proper planning, that we ended up here. But looking back, it certainly feels like more than an accident! We spent the first 2 summers camping on Park Creek Road, first in a tent then in camper, and in 2023 we decided to make it our winter destination as well. Our family of 5 plus 2 grandparents stayed in the cutest little cabin at 35 Park Dr and it was perfect for our Wolf Creek adventure! Fun fact...we were the first ones to sign the guestbook for the previous owners. For our 2024 ski trip, we brought 4 other families and had to upgrade to a larger lodge, but this cabin was still in our thoughts if they backed out. So when it came up for sale in early 2024, we thought we'd see if we could make it work. And with the most amazing couple on the other end as the seller, it actually did work!
Since discovering South Fork in 2020, we have seen God's hands all over this adventure we have been on. We joined a new church in 2021 and several of the people there have connections to South Fork! Outside of family vacations, our kids have also gotten to enjoy several backpacking trips in the area. We feel beyond blessed to have a cabin of our own, but even more blessed to have developed the connections along the way!
It has been so fun to put our personal touches on the cabin and to continue making memories with our kids in South Fork! We hope that you find our home is comfortable, convenient and full of rich memories with your own family and friends!
