Great spot for a family trip

We loved our stay at the cabin. The views were lovely and we were up above the valley! We explored maggie valley, Waynesville and Asheville all from this great home base. Would recommend for sure.

A great mountain escape!

The house was amazing with a lot of amenities for everyone in our group - we loved the porches, the hot tub and the video games downstairs. We also loved how close it was to many restaurants and activities

Kids first ski trip

We got lucky and it snowed a good bit during our stay. The kids loved the snow, skiing and the cabin. If we visit Maggie Valley again we would definitely stay at Valley View again!

Great view, great house!

Awesome view!! Very clean and comfortable. Property was as described. Nicely decorated as well. Very close to shops and restaurants. The kids loved the Waffle bar and games. This is a great place. You will not be disappointed.

Driveway is steep. House is beautiful and view is great.

Beautiful Cabin

We visit Maggie Valley every year. We had a great cabin for a few years to rent but it no longer is a rental. We found Valley View and loved the pictures and knew it was going to fit our families perfectly! Booking was great , even with having to cancel due to a schedule change with a family member in the military and rebooking a week later! Very very clean and pretty much fully stocked! Easy access and plenty of parking for 3 vehicles.

Weekend wedding

The house was so perfect we didn't want to go to the wedding. Loved the pool table, games and hot tub. The beds were all very comfy and there was plenty of space in all the bedrooms. Too many little extras to mention. Turning around in the driveway was a little tricky, but we got the hang of it. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Fall hiking get-away

We have taken trips to the Smokies for nearly 30 years for hiking with friends and family. First time staying in the Maggie Valley area. Valley View waa juat whar we needed to accommodate our group. The place was spacious enough for 9 adults ( we were supposwd to have 2 more that had to cancel, but they would have also fit). The place was clean, well kept and for us, an excellent location for access to the parks and some awesome hiking. Getting into Waynesville is easy from the location as well. We would definitely stay at this location once again!

Fantastic Cabin

This cabin was everything we wanted. Kitchen well stocked. Very clean. Beautiful views. We were in town for the Southeast Mini Trucking Nationals. A couple of the vehicles scraped the driveway trying to get in, but it's all good. Will definitely rent again.

Almost Heaven

One of the nicest VRBO's we've stayed in. The view is amazing (overlooking Maggie Valley). The location is amazing (close to Ashville, Cherokee, Dale's Wheels Through Time Museum, Waterfalls and the Blue Ridge Parkway). The amenities are incredible (coffee station, firepit, deck, hot tub). The drive up the mountain is a goat path and may be tricky in snowy conditions but was not a problem otherwise.

Family Vacation

We stayed in this wonderful cabin during our family vacation. Our first for our first granddaughter (9 mths old).We had a group of 11. Everyone that was with us spoke highly of the beds being comfortable. We were able to enjoy several familily meals. Afterwords we would sit on the deck, watch the sun set, and watch the squirrels in the trees. After one of our hiking expeditions the hot tub was amazing. It sure helped my huband and my achy muscles. I would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone looking for that home away from home feel. recommend this cabin.

Our family loved it!

This property does not disappoint! It is well stocked with kitchen equipment. However, we didn't use the waffle iron as it had not been cleaned & I didn't know how to clean it. The beds are comfortable, but the master suite bed was a bit tall for this 70ish couple, but I managed with a foot stool found in the closet. The drive up the mountain is narrow, but we managed & parking was ample for our 4 SUVs. The pool table & WII saw a lot of use as did the porches & hot tub. The kids loved having their space in the loft. It was perfect for them. The view is fantastic & we enjoyed watching for elk in the pasture across the valley. We can't wait to use it again.

Bike Rally

Property was great. Views were magnificant. We were coming to the area for the Motorcycle rally- Thunder in the smokies. Weather was marginal so we didn[t ride our bikes. The hairpin turns were pretty sharp and would have been difficult on a motorcycle.

Cute place with a view

We enjoyed our stay at the Valley View. Make sure to take toiletries because there was only half a roll of toilet paper in one bathroom and no extras for 11 people for 4 days. Also, be cautious as the drive up to the house is steep and is switchbacks up there. The driveway looks wider than it is in the photos and with 5 vehicles, leaves not much room. We came for a car/truck show and there was no way we were getting any trailer up to the house. Very pretty view from the house though.
