The newly remodeled 2 bedroom, main floor condo is within a 10-minute walk to Lionshead Village, the Gondola, fabulous restaurants, Shopping, and numerous outdoor activities that Vail Valley offers. The spacious living area is excellent for relaxing and watching movies and shows on the 65" TV, after enjoying all Vail Valley offers. Enjoy cooking? You will love preparing a meal in the fully equipped kitchen, and if you need to run to the store, City Market and Safeway are just a mile down the road. Not up for walking? The free Vail bus stop is less than 300' away on the Red Sandstone Rd, and within 8 mins, you will be in the town center. The green space in the back is perfect for hanging out and listening to the creek or walk over Red sandstone park for fun for all, with a volleyball court and a playground. Need a workout? Bring your SPD or Look (delta) bike shoes, biking shorts, and hop on the Peloton for a workout at 8000 feet.

The place is comfy and nicely decorated. The kitchen has so many different utensils, cookware and spices that you'd need for cooking meals. Pillows and bedding were in great shape. It's conveniently located. The hosts were very responsive to questions. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect spot for a long weekend getaway

Great location for a ski getaway! Loved the modern kitchen and comfy beds with lots of pillows! Great tv with lots of streaming options!!

Comfortable and thoughtfully appointed accommodations in peaceful condo community next to the creek. Close to Lionshead, Vail Village, grocery store, hiking, etc. Host was very helpful and communicative when needed.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a nice, very little, place. The parking was our only complaint, as our car didn't fit in the designated place.

Fabulous stay!

We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat! The place is very nice and comfortable, great space, updated, adorably decorated and with everything you might need. Peaceful location on the creek, nice yard/ outdoor space, incredibly convenient to Lionsead and Vail Village, great parking spot and owners provided excellent communication, and amenities and ease of check-in/out!

Great little place for a Vail Get Away

The property was clean and had easy access to the bus line to get into Vail and Lionshead. The host was excellent to communicate to. The walk with skis and gear was further than anticipated. Overall a great place to stay.

Great convenient location!

This place was great for us! The bus stop was a few steps away and it was also an easy walk into Vail Village using the pedestrian bridge. We didn’t use our car the whole stay. Very clean! Very nicely decorated! I had 2 small children with me and it was very convenient and perfect for us!

Very pleasant unit. Well appointed.

Very nice compact unit. Fit 3 of us easily. All new furnishings and very nicely appointed. Bus to the transportation center is very close by. Walk to lionshead is a bit far with skis.

Super cute!

Really great remodel in Sandstone 70. Everything is new! Comfy beds, great quiet ceiling fans in bedrooms, cool TV. Well stocked as far as pots and pans, kitchen appliances. Easy walk into Lionshead via pedestrian bridge. We had a really nice stay.

Skiing in Vail

We stayed here from 1/2/2024 - 1/6/2024. Great location. Only 1/2 mile walk to pedestrian bridge to Lionshead and a 3 minute drive to Lionshead parking. Made it easy to wake up, make coffee and breakfast and get in the car in ski gear and head to the mountain. Close to all restaurants in Vail Village and Lionshead with ease of parking at each location.

Beautifully updated, very comfortable, close to Vail, everything we needed

We had a really lovely experience and would highly recommend this property! My 15 year old son and I decided on a last minute ski trip, and we were lucky to find this pretty, bright, clean, comfortable and convenient condo with truly great, responsive hosts. You park right in front of your door (which my sore knees really appreciated)! It’s just across the highway from the village and lifts, so we often drove back and forth because parking is easy at the village. The condo had everything we needed to enjoy cooking. Beds were comfortable after a long day of day of skiing, and we also really enjoyed the remote controlled fireplace. Thank you for a nice stay!

Great Vail Condo Near Lionshead & Vail Village

We had a great stay at this condo. While the building looks dated, they have done a great job at updating the interior with modern finishes. They have a great TV and a good living room for two couples to hang out. The bus to Vail Village is a one-minute walk from the front door and takes about 10 minutes to get to the village. You could walk across the highway to Lionshead via pedestrian bridge, but tough with ski boots on. Would definitely stay here again.

Truly excellent

We had a fantastic time staying at this place. The location was excellent for walking to Lionshead, the condo itself was delightful — well furnished, comfortable, and fully stocked with family games, kitchen equipment and a ton of non-perishables — and the hosts were super responsive and helpful. All around, an A+ experience.

Vail Condo

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this condo for our trip to Vail. The unit has been upgraded and is very modern with regard to wall and floor finishes, furniture, appliances et cetera. And the best part is....it's only abou 150' from the bus stop which is great when you're carrying skis and with your boots on. Overall a very nice experience.

Beautifully refinished condo near Lionshead and Vail villages

My husband and I needed an escape with our dog to the mountains. We looked for a VRBO to rent anywhere in the state of Colorado and there was not much to choose from. When this property listed for our dates we knew it would be comfortable and close to all of the activities we wanted for our trip. We were so glad we stayed here! Along with hiking, kayaking at Lake Dillon (not too far away), golf... the ski villages had live music, a farmers market on Sunday, nice hotel spas, and great restaurants to visit. The location of this condo was perfect for us! This condo is in an older, more residential building, but it is renovated beautifully and the neighbors are very nice and welcoming! Scott and Kathleen made us feel extra welcome with some flowers, a card, local beer, a bottle of Rose, and some other essentials. Their rules are clear and we had no issues with accessing the property. The only thing I would suggest is if you like coffee- bring your own extra espresso pods for the Nespresso Virtuo machine they have. I couldn't find any pods for this type of Nespresso machine anywhere nearby and I felt bad that we used all of the pods they had left there. They do have a coffee maker stored above the refrigerator, but we didn't want to pull it out and make it dirty when we only had a few days of our trip remaining. Thank you for a great place to stay on our getaway!
