3/2 lakeside cabin with North Georgia mountain views conveniently located between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Equipped with 2 screened in porches, hot tub, fire pit, boats, dock and many other amenities for guests to enjoy. Cozy, family friendly cabin with all rooms on one level -- Great for families!

Once you arrive at the cabin, everything you need to enjoy your stay is within a few steps from the cabin. Take a leisurely walk on the Griffin-Thrasher Trail hiking trail, a 3.5-mile "easy" trail that winds along Jones Creek and offers great views of the Georgia Mountains, Lake Buckhorn, local landscape, and wildlife. You can also select from a kayak and several canoes that are complementary to our guests while staying at the wonderful lakefront cabin! Venture out on Lake Buckhorn or just stay dockside and try your hand at some fishing. On easy to navigate, high quality roads, located just 7.5 miles from Ellijay and about 12 miles from Blue Ridge is close to apple orchards, wineries, horseback riding, hiking, fishing, swimming, Carter’s Lake, mountain biking, kayaking, whitewater rafting, river tubing, zip lining, quaint restaurants and shopping, even golf. Any activity you’d like to try is nearby!

Excellent cabin to stay with absolutely amazing amenities. Our boys loved the fishing and we enjoyed the wonderful fire pit. Location is perfect. It is quiet and very relaxing. We highly recommend this cabin and area. We will definitely be back.

This cabin was perfect for our Fall Break trip. We enjoyed beautiful weather and spent a ton of time in the canoes, kayak, hammock, and hot tub. The owner was very easy to communicate with. The kitchen was well-stocked. The layout was great for our family of six, and I will certainly miss morning coffee on the back porch.

clean and comfortable. A lovely place for us to enjoy a weekend as adults. Even when it was rainy out, we had nice places to sit and chat. Great equipment to cook together as well.

Just what we needed

Everything about this place was awesome. So comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, the jacuzzi tub, the beds were super comfortable. We played horse shoes, went fishing, built a fire in the firepit. Everything we could have wanted was provided. Loved it!

The property manager, KC, was great to work with and very attentive and helpful to us. The property grounds needs some updating particularly the stairs and path to the lake. The railroad ties are rotting and walking over tree roots is dangerous. Replacing and extending the stairs would make a huge difference to the property. The interior is well maintained and very clean. Great place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. This is my first time using Vrbo and it was a very good experience.

Get Away

Beautiful Location! Close to downtown Blue Ridge, Ellijay. Home was well stocked with everything you could need, besides shorted of bath and kitchen linens. Very disappointed with the outside of the home, several bird nests on the home, plus all outdoor patio furniture and kayaks were extremely dirty, green moss, mold and black.

The owner was very commutative and responsive. Cabin is in a great location, very clean and cozy. Sits right on a small lake with a great view. We kayaked both days and it was amazing. Would go again for sure!

The house was clean on the inside. The screened porches were nice in the mornings and evenings. Used the hot tub a couple of times. A lot of growth under the water at the dock but that is what you get during the summertime heat. Caught a few bass during the week. Had to deal with a lot of noise each day due to grass cutting, chainsaws and wood chippers around the lake but that is not the fault of the owners. We managed. Close to Ellijay and downtown Blue Ridge. It was still a break from work.

Perfect family spring break!

We brought our 4 kids, ages 6, 9, 12, and 14. The split floor plan was perfect for the kids on one side and parents on the other. The girls shared a room and the boys shared a room. We loved canoeing, fishing from the dock, reading in the hammock, cooking s’mores by the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub! The weather was beautiful and there were some other families next door enjoying some outdoor activities also that we waved at while canoeing! Such a cute little lakeside community We loved our trip and have considered coming back in the fall or summer!

Fall Getaway

WOW! What a beautiful cabin! We were there over Halloween weekend and the cabin was decorated! What a nice and personal touch. We enjoyed making fires, fishing, and relaxing on the beautiful porches. All the comforts of home but tucked away to make you feel like you were out in the woods. Just perfect! Our host was very accommodating!

Wonderful property and cabin. Situated perfectly between Ellijay and Blue Ridge for ease of access to shop, dine and other activities. My children enjoyed the lake to fish and canoe, and the trails along the lake. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen for essentials! One large negative for wife and I was the master bedroom bed. It is obviously worn out or broken and was very very uncomfortable to sleep on. The other guest beds were perfect…..so why the master bed is so bad I don’t understand. I would urge the property manager and owner to replace the master bed asap as your guests are paying a premium for the stay. Otherwise, our family highly recommends this location and we hope to visit again in the future.

Wonderful Relaxing Family Getaway

We fully enjoyed our 4 day stay over Christmas. Cabin was cite, fully stocked and had all the amenities we needed. Despite the super cold weather my adult son canoed on the lake. We enjoyed watching the geese and other birds. We walked on the small trail that covers one side of the lake and then at the spillway it follows the creek for a while. Very peaceful. The kitchen was great and we were able to cook Christmas dinner for 4. We sat in the hottub at dusk- so incredible to sit in sub freezing weather and fully enjoy the hot water. And then to go inside and build a roaring fire. Be sure to go outside at night and look at the stars. We could see far more stars than w we do in Atlanta. The property is conviently close to Ellijay which has restaurants and great grocery shopping at Ingles but we stocked up and spent our time relaxing at the cabin. Great location that we will plan future trips to again.
