Welcome to Grouse Moor Lodge!

Recently remodeled and professionally decorated, this charming, 4BR/3.5BA log-style home is located on a beautiful, scenic wooded lot with winter mountain views. THIS HOME IS PET-FREE — PLEASE RESPECT THE PROPERTY AND DO NOT BRING PETS OF ANY KIND DURING YOUR STAY. The cabin features an arched entryway, a soaring river-rock wood-burning fireplace, gorgeous updated cabin-style furniture, and a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with designer granite countertops and a subway tile backsplash. The master bedroom is on the main level and has a king bed and bathroom with an extra-large jetted tub, dual quartz vanities, and access to the deck with a charming porch swing. Upstairs features one king and one queen bedroom on either side of the open loft. Each has designer decor and bedding, and they share a large bath featuring double quartz vanities. Downstairs, you will enjoy a second comfortable living area with three (3) sofas, one of which is a queen-sized sleeper sofa. This area has a big-screen TV, a pool table, a foosball table, assorted games, a monitor in the bunk room for gamers, a bar area, a full bathroom with dual quartz vanities, a bunk room that sleeps 4, and a second deck with a hot tub. Outside, you can relax around the fire pit or enjoy a game of horseshoes.

Located on Sugar Mountain, less than 2.5 miles to the ski resort and the golf course, this cabin is convenient to everything the High Country offers.

This cabin was so beautifully decorated and comfortable. It was as pictured, if not better, and we had a wonderful time. The hot tub and pool table were specific amenities we were looking for and we made use of both. Everything in the house is labeled, literally, so it is easy to find what you are looking for. There were several do's and don'ts posted but the rules were easy enough to follow. We didn't find any of the assorted board games mentioned but picked some up while we were out. This home is absolutely beautiful and fit our family perfectly. We would love to visit again.

Fabulous Family Ski Trip on Sugar Mtn!

The Grouse Moor Lodge was wonderful!! It was very clean and spacious. Plenty of room for two families with lots of kids. The home was very comfortable. The kids loved the downstairs bunk room and adjacent game room and living room. The large laundry room allowed for storage of all of our ski stuff with plenty of room to clean up and do laundry after hours on the slopes. The kitchen was very spacious and dining table and barstools fit all of us comfortably. Every bedroom had smart TVs. Every level had a full bathroom. Two large decks outside looked over the fire pit area and horseshoe pit. Very short drive to Sugar Mountain Ski area (less than 5 min). App Ski Mountain and Beech Mountain are about 20-30 min drive. Grocery store, restaurants, gem mining, Alpine coaster are less than a mile away. The roads up to the cabin are very easy to navigate, and well maintained even in snowy weather. Overall a lovely time! We can’t wait to come back! :)

Awesome modern log house

The house was very clean, tastefully decorated in mountain decor and only a 5 minute drive to the slopes of Sugar Mountain. The kitchen was very well organized and equipped with everything you might need. All bathrooms were large and included plush towels. It was a wonderful house for us with our children and grandchildren. We will rent this property again.

Very Nice Cabin, Good Location

This is a very beautiful cabin in a very convenient location close to grocery stores and restaurants. We were able to visit Grandfather Mtn and The Tweetsie Railroad. We made a fire outside too!
