Private Lake House on Cayuga Lake in wine country near Taughannock Park

Gorgeous indoor outdoor house with decks overlooking Cayuga Lake. Private patio, fire pit and lawn on breakwalls at lake side. House is newly built in 2020 with 2 story windows lakeside and open room with living room, dining room and kitchen for gathering. A large deck outside this living area overlooks the lake and includes a covered eating area with gas grill and table . Central air along with HRV air exchange system allows you to create the perfect environment. Gas fireplace in living room. Four of five bedrooms have sweeping lake views and queen beds, fifth room has two single beds. A study room has an optional single day bed. A pull out queen size couch and queen sized futon will accommodate four additional guests. Master bedroom on the main floor has walk in closets, attached bathroom and linen closet. Master bedroom also has door access to deck. Bedroom on second floor has private covered balcony. There is a large covered deck on the second floor with deck chairs for relaxing.
Kitchen is fully equipped with stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, dishes, pots and pans and appliances. Clothes washer and dryer are included.
Enjoy a private 100 foot lakefront lawn, patio and dock with a short walk down to the lake. After a lakeside day relax in a four person hot tub. Three kayaks, two paddleboards and johnboat are available for guests in the summer months. Property is five miles north of Taughannock Park, 13 miles north of Ithaca, Cornell and Ithaca College and at the southern end of the Cayuga Lake wine trail.

We had to clean the stove top and the door of the oven. There was a tremendous amounts of spiders and webs on the deck and chairs. However, the house work out well for everyone who stayed. We enjoyed our stay and the surrounding area.

Beautiful house, spotlessly clean, right on the lake. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Fishing off the dock was great. Kitchen has just about every cooking tool that you could need. Couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay for our daughters graduation.

We invited our four adult children, spouses and granddaughter to spend a week at the lake house. They were able to work with excellent WiFi, often sitting on balconies overlooking the lake. Evenings we gathered together on the balcony, in the dining rooom to play games, and by the fire pit at the lake. We were only minutes from wineries and cider houses. The toddler loved the nearby Goat and Cheese farm. We were only 20-25 minutes from Ithaca for shopping and waterfalls. We highly recommend this Lake Home!

Lakehouse Reunion

The house was in a good location for us. We were able to get to the City of Ithaca, Ithaca College and Cornell within 30 minutes. We didn't have sit on the pier weather but could see how beautiful it will be later.

September weekend on the Lake

Great house and great location for an extended weekend Finger Lakes trip. We enjoyed visits to a winery, a cidery, gorges, waterfalls, and dinner in Geneva and Ithaca. And even in mid-September the weather was nice enough for a refreshing dip in the lake. Dave was very friendly and helpful and the house new and clean with a great layout.

This is our 2nd straight summer staying for a week at this beautiful lakehouse. It’s such a great house. The owners have made some nice upgrades from last year including rock steps that now go the lake, And improvements to the hot tub. We had a lovely time, and hope to keep coming yearly.

This is a beautiful house on Lake Cayuga. The owner Dave was very helpful, showing us around and telling us about the property. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Lots of space on the porches to relax.
