Welcome to the Historic Tyson House in Cedar Key! This beautifully restored home, once the residence of Jack Tyson, a decorated WWII bomber pilot, offers you a unique blend of comfort and history. Enjoy three bedrooms, two baths, and outdoor living for a relaxed stay.

Inside, you’ll find a spacious great room that includes a stylish living area with seating for sixand a TV, adjacent to a bright dining space with a glass-topped table for six. The fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for those times you just want to stay in, and a cozy sunroom provides the perfect spot to unwind with a book.

The master bedroom offers a queen-size bed, seating area, and an ensuite bathroom with a clawfoot tub. There’s also a guest bedroom with a queen bed and another small room with a twin bed, ideal for extra guests.

Outside, the front porch is a wondeful spot for morning coffee, while the back deck lets you soak up the Florida sun and even catch glimpses of the Gulf. A Weber grill is ready for barbecues.

Tyson House is decorated beautiful antiques, creating an elegant atmosphere throughout. Linens, soaps, and kitchen essentials are provided to make your stay comfortable. Enjoy wireless internet, Direct TV, and the charm of Cedar Key’s historic streets.

It`s also conveniently located, allowing you to explore Cedar Key on foot. Explore local shops, dine out, and relax on City Park Beach. Come and enjoy Old Florida!

Please note that parking at Tyson House is limited to one designated off-street space. Additional parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis on the street. Please consider this when planning the number of vehicles you`ll have.
-Please be respectful of the neighbors and the area you are staying
-Do not trespass on other people`s property, this includes docks and driveways
-Please be careful where you park, don`t block people in, use neighbors property, park on the sidewalk or impede traffic
-Parties and/or events are not allowed
-No smoking inside or within 10 feet of doors or windows $250 fine if the property smells of smoke
-Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fine for each animal
-$150/person/day fee for over occupancy limit
-Please don’t eat or drink anything besides water in the bedroom
-Quiet hours 10 pm to 7 am per local Noise Ordinance
-Please respect the check-in and check-out times. $500 for each 4 hours, or portion unauthorized thereof, of early check-in and late checkout.
-Guests are responsible for any damage they cause. If something does happen contact us ASAP and we will see if there’s a way to quickly take care of the issue before it gets worse and costs more.
-Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
-Please do your dishes.
-No illegal substances allowed on premises.
- Primary renter must be at least 25 years old or active military.
- ESA and service animals require documentation and adherence to our policies.
- Do not set the AC below 72° or heat above 78°.
