Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Rental Aug 2-9, 2026: Conditions rendered the property unsanitary and unusable. Septic tank overflowed: raw, visible sewage and feces flowing/pooling onto terrace. This created a persistent, intense odor throughout the outdoor and indoor living spaces and posed a serious health and sanitation hazard for our group, including two children and a toddler. Although owner attempted to rectify the problem, a persistent odor remained even after cleanup. This was an issue to be addressed by a hazardous materials expert not a handyman.Pool water was murky, discolored, and unsafe to use, for four days. The discoloration was a buildup of algae and bacteria which could only have occurred over several weeks. Conditions lasted for 4 out of our 7 day stay. The exterior security gate did not close, leaving a 1-foot gap. Also, no front door key was provided. Owner stated she did not have the key. Lower floor air conditioning was non-functional, leaving that portion of the property uncomfortably hot, humid and with a strong smell of mildew. Poor maintenance and lack of cleanliness and basic supplies were also other concerns. For these reasons, we cannot recommend this property at all. We contacted VRBO after unsatisfactory responses from owner. VRBO’s team agreed with us, but was unable to move owner to provide compensation. We applaud VRBO’s efforts to assist. They offered to find another property, but hard to move 17 persons. We recommend property be removed from VRBO’s website.

Vos photos ici lors de l intervention ne confirment pas vos dires, il n y a pas eu d intervention sur fosse septique mais sur 1 canalisation extérieure (facture jointe), la maison a 1 cuisine et 2 cuisines annexes. Et 18 personnes départ la veille soit pendant 21 jours avec Chef cuisinier chaque jour 3 repas et des consignes à respecter. Cette prévention car votre réservation de 8 adultes est passé à 17 comme vous l indiquez je vous en ai donc fais part et vous avez accepté l entreprise (non un bricoleur,) comme vous affirmez. Votre réservation, erreur de prix que j ai assumé car pour 8 adultes, puis en réalité 17 personnes, sans prévenir Vrbo. Or Indispensable pour les assurances en cas d accident ou sinistre..J'ai donc prévenu vrbo par sécurité et sans modifier les frais. Votre attitude à vôtre arrivée pour des équipements pour bébés ́non mentionnés., mon équipe a fait le nécessaire, puis les tests piscine devant vous également. ́Nos autres avis et photos témoignent de notre investissement pour le confort de nos hôtes, et vigilance enfants indiqué sur les sites, toujours avec cœur, passion et éthique Vrbo, vous déplacer ? J ai fais la preuve de mes dires par photos et constat d huissier puis à ce prix très bas pour 17 personnes. Réponse pour autres affabulations avoqués. plus de place pour répondre limité à 1500 caractères. Photos preuves sur demande. Pourquoi à vôtre âge avancé cette attitude. Bonne chance .

Lovely Villa, great family holiday – Easter 2019

Put simply, we had a lovely time in this Villa staying 16 nights over Easter. We were a very large party of 14 in the first week arriving in 2 SUV’s, plus a further 3 in the second week with a hire car. There were 2 families comprising 4 adults and 13 “kids” including friends and relatives ranging in age from 6 to 21. There is so much room in the villa that we were all accommodated comfortably. With the heated pool, its numerous loungers, lovely palm trees, together with the other nice facilities, this was a little bit of paradise for a couple of weeks. The pool was large and warm enough for us to use from early morning until late in the evening, even though it was only April. The Jacuzzi and the Hamman were used almost every day and the table tennis tables were a happy venue for many a game between us. We also played chess and the piano whilst recovering from our exertions albeit no one actually knows how to play the piano! The lounge was lovely with enough chairs for us to sit together and watch the Champions league football! On several evenings we also visited the local bars and restaurants of Antibes which were very welcoming for such a large party. The Villa has decent sized kitchens, inside and out, plus we also barbecued. Food was had sitting outside together on the large table, many of us with a cool beer in hand. The kitchen and utility rooms were well fitted out with appliances, there were 3 barbecues, along with multiple fridge’s for our drinks. We really wanted for nothing. We enjoyed Cannes and Monaco which we visited a couple of times. We also walked to the local shops and cafes near the water front and visited the marina. The area was very safe and the cars were parked behind electric gates. The villa is situated conveniently with quick and easy access to the local area but in a location where we were not overlooked and could play music by the pool. The owner Sylvie kept us informed and was very accommodating and helpful. Even to the extent of providing a pool cover to keep the heat in at night due to the use of the pool in April. Thank you Sylvie for being the perfect host. So happy we stayed at your Villa and everyone had such a great time, just a shame the holiday went so quickly! We look forward to the time when we can return ...soon. Until next time Mark

Täuschende Fotos

Wir waren insgesamt 14 Personen und konnten unsere Augen nicht trauen was wir vorfanden. Am Anfang war die Kommunikation gut. Alles in Englisch kommuniziert bis zur Übergabe vom Haus. Sie hat nur französisch geredet und wir haben uns konnten nichts verstehen. Das ganze Haus wir dreckig und unordentlich. Die duschanlagen sind alle alt. Im Untergeschoss hat es gemuffelt. Das Haus täuscht von den Bildern sehr. Die Nachbarin schreite uns tagsüber mehrmals an, obwohl unsere Musik nicht laut war. Nachrichten kamen jetzt auch nur noch auf französisch, da sie sich überhaupt keine Mühe mehr macht. Im Großen und Ganze nicht weiterzuempfehlen für den Preis.

Villa Mévania locations meublées inscrit au Rcs, depuis 2001, 4 étoiles puis 5 étoiles, par organisme , démarche officielle, Les photos et prestations sont constatées chaque année par huissier Lambert à Cannes ..et avant votre arrivée, lien inventaire 90 photos et vidéos. Home Away from Home

Stayed with couple of friends and had a perfect getaway. The Garden is fantastic with the Pool and the little pond. We enjoyed the location close to the beaches Antibes and Cannes. Alreadylooking forward to return to the Villa.Sylvie is a superb host. Highly recommended to stay here.

this villa is amazing so big ! You can swim use the hamam invite your friends so many rooms ! You can play football , ping pong the garden is so big we did a pool party for my friend birthday ! I really enjoyed my days in this beautiful villa
