We we here in June of 2025. The host went out or her way to make everything great for our stay. She left us a surprise in the refrigerator for our stay here during the NHRA event. The home was very comfortable and very clean. Not a complaint one. The home was so cozy and cooled very well and furnished with everything you will need with your stay. I would highly recommend this little house. We loved the country setting there at the little house. Thank you so much for the host Debbie for making the check in so easy and pleasant. Debbie was a fantastic host and was there to answer any questions we had.most definitely a 5 star rental for us.
The accommodations are very nice and the host is very easy to communicate with. I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a peaceful location to spend some time.
We only slept, bathed, and ate one snack during our stay, but we enjoyed the comfort and quaintness. The Little House included all the amenities we needed. Thank you!
Great stay. The property was spotless cleanest I stayed in and I travel a lot as I’m retired. It was well stocked and equipped, nice fire pit, free firewood, deck, and beautiful country.
I will definitely stay again when in the area.
Perfect little house for a get away!! Location was awesome minutes from Bristol Speedway, shopping etc. We felt very welcome!! Watching the turkeys visit was awesome!! Definitely will use again in the further!!!
House was super clean and just the right size for three adults. Easy to get to speedway from the property. If Bristol is in our plans again we’ll be back.
This is a nice quiet comfortable place. We liked the leather furniture, the antique country decor,
and the thoughtful handwritten notes. We had everything we needed and the location was ideal for visiting Northeastern Tennessee. We would recommend it highly!
My family and I stayed at this property the first weekend of October. We were attending an event at Bristol Speedway. The house was perfect for us and had everything we needed. It was close to the speedway and several stores, but still had a country feel. Debbie the host was amazing! She went above and beyond for us and we are very thankful and greatful for her hospitality. We would recommend this property to anyone needing an affordable and comfortable accommodation close to the speedway.
Nice small house with easy check in and good communication with the host. One thing to note is the only bathroom is off the master bedroom with no other entries. That wasn't clear to me from the pictures or description. Everything else was great.
I visited Elizabethton last week with my brother and nephew for a family event. Everyone in the family agreed that the little house was wonderful. There was plenty of space for my nephew to play, and we took full advantage of the fire pit and laundry facilities. Debbie, the hostess, was also extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this listing.
The host was amazing. Communicated prior, during and after our stay. We got in town earlier than expected for County Thunder and we were able to get settled prior to the concerts. Quite little area, cozy and charming home. It was nice and cool after returning from being in the heat all day. Would definitely stay again if we go back to that area. The home was very clean and had everything you needed for the stay. Wish we could have enjoyed the firepit and grill but we just didn't have time.
Our group of three anglers stayed here for a 4-day fishing trip. This quirky-but-nice and clean house met our needs. It was a bit tricky for three unrelated people with only one bathroom only accessible through one of the bedrooms, but we made it work. Plenty of hot water, but very low water pressure in the shower. The property manager was very responsive and excellent in all respects.
We stayed at this property for a travel baseball tournament. With two teen boys, we don’t sleep well in the same hotel room, so we try to VRBO anywhere we go. I’ll start off by saying that the house was clean, the hostess was great and even left us some gifts, there were plenty of linens, and overall we were pleased with our stay. A few things that could be a little more transparent in the listing are that the house is on a main road and across the dirt road from what looks like a house straight out of Breaking Bad. Considering my boys had just watched this show, they found it slightly humerous, but at first sight, this could be a little unsettling. In addition, this house is missing some siding that also could be a put off at first sight. It seems it may have been added onto recently, so they may be planning to fix that. The last detail, and probably most important for us, was that the two twin bedrooms do not have air conditioning. Teen boys generally run hot, so we were concerned that they would have trouble sleeping in these rooms. However, the hostess does provide box fans for those rooms, thank goodness, so after leaving their doors open for the day to cool off the rooms, the boys slept fine. Overall, we had a good experience. The people watching across the street was on point, and we were pleased with the extra mile the hostess went to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The house is a good middle point for Bristol, Johnson City, and Kingsport.
This house was in a good location, with lovely views in a quiet location. We were near a highway, but any noise was minimal. Owner was quick to respond to needs. We slept well and enjoyed wi-fi and DISH TV. I enjoyed time sitting on the deck to read while facing the huge mimosa tree.
All around great experience. The cottage was was Cozy, clean, peaceful, and in a great location. The property manager was a delight to correspond with.
We were in town for the National Softball tournament.
Just coaches, no kids with us.
This home was so comfortable and exactly what we needed. Had all the essentials. It was VERY clean. We enjoyed some of the games available. Had WiFi so we could work a little bit too. Property manager was so very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed Jiggy Rays, but didn't make it to Ridgewood BBQ (check their hours) though many of our team did and loved it. Thanks for a great week. We will be back!!!
